Abstract:
An image pickup apparatus includes: an image data production unit configured to produce data of a plurality of kinds of images from a picked up image and successively output the data; an image synthesis unit configured to cyclically connect the data of the plurality of kinds of images for each pixel string within a range set in advance for each of the kinds of the images and output the connected data as a stream to produce a virtual synthetic image; and an image sending unit configured to accept, from a host terminal, a data transmission request that designates a rectangular region in the virtual synthetic image, extract and connect data from the stream and transmit the connected data as a new stream to the host terminal.
Abstract:
There is provided a graphics processor that allows decompression of a compressed texture with high efficiency. The graphics processor includes: a main memory; and a graphics processing unit, in which the graphics processing unit includes a run length decoding section adapted to run-length-decode a compressed texture, and a reciprocal spatial frequency conversion section adapted to restore the texture by performing reciprocal spatial frequency conversion on the run-length-decoded texture, and the main memory includes a texture pool adapted to partially cache the restored texture.
Abstract:
A control point detector detects controls points, with which moving images are associated with a region of a panoramic image, by detecting feature points between the panoramic image and a frame of part of the moving images. An alignment processing unit adjusts the alignment of the moving images relative to the panoramic image, based on the control points. A mapping processing unit maps the panoramic image and a still image frame of the moving images the alignment of which adjusted by the alignment processing unit, onto a three-dimensional (3D) panoramic space as textures. A 3D image generator generates a 3D panoramic image, when the three-dimensional panoramic image is viewed in a specified line of sight. When a moving image reproduction unit receives instructions to reproduce the moving images in the 3D panoramic image, the moving image reproduction unit reproduces the moving images.
Abstract:
An image acquisition unit acquires an image captured by a first imaging device provided in a HMD for presenting an image observed when a three-dimensional image in a virtual three-dimensional space is projected onto a real-world setting, the first imaging device being configured to visualize an area including a field of view of a user wearing the HMD. A marker detection unit detects a marker included in the image captured by the first imaging device and acquired by the image acquisition unit. The image acquisition unit acquires an image captured by a second imaging device having an angle of view that at least partially overlaps an angle of view of the first imaging device. If the marker is not captured in the image captured by the first imaging device, the marker detection unit detects the marker in an image captured by the second imaging device.
Abstract:
A slide cover is curved such that a central portion thereof in a front and rear direction is positioned higher than a front edge and a rear edge thereof. A disk accommodation section in which an optical disk is to be disposed is covered with the slide cover which is positioned at a closed position. A rotational driving portion configured to be fitted in a center hole of the optical disk to rotate the optical disk is provided on the disk accommodation section. With this electronic apparatus, the cost can be reduced, and an installation operation of an optical disk by a user can be facilitated.
Abstract:
To minimize possible adverse impact on a viewing posture of a user viewing video content, a main part, when additional content is provided to the user. A content provision device includes: viewing condition acquisition means for acquiring a viewing condition of a user viewing video content currently on air and appearing on a display; content provision means for providing, to the user, additional content different from the video content; and content control means for controlling provision of the additional content to the user by the additional content provision means based on the viewing condition.
Abstract:
A user terminal 300 has a theme presenting section 320 configured to present a theme of an image to a user, a drawing control section 313 configured to accept drawing of an image from the user, an image presenting section 321 configured to, when the drawing control section 313 accepts drawing of an image based on the theme presented by the theme presenting section 320 from the user, acquire, from a comment information managing server that manages comment information posted by a plurality of users, an image drawn by another user on the basis of the theme presented by the theme presenting section 320 and posted to the comment information managing server, and present the acquired image, and a comment information posting section 312 configured to post the image drawn by the drawing control section 313 to the comment information managing server.
Abstract:
A broadcast message may be initiated or received at a peer node. The node obtains an uplink bandwidth available for broadcasting the message over the network and a number of copies that can be broadcast based on the available bandwidth. The node determines a range of key values for finger nodes that should receive copies of the broadcast message from a finger table. The finger table entries include references to finger nodes and key values associated with the finger nodes. The node determines which other nodes should receive copies of the broadcast message from range of key values and the number of copies. The node also determines an End ID for each recipient node. A copy of the broadcast message and corresponding End ID is sent to a finger node if the finger node's key value is within a range of key values specified by the End ID.
Abstract:
A timing at which communication is to be attempted subsequently is set such that a timing when an information processing apparatus is incommunicatable with a communication counterpart and communication is not carried out is later than a timing when a condition different from the condition that the information apparatus is incommunicatable with a communication counterpart is satisfied and communication is not carried out. When a communication timing comes, if communication with a server is impossible, a timing is set later by a time period than the communication timing as a new communication timing but sets, if a predetermined condition different from a condition that communication with the server is impossible is satisfied, a timing later by a time period, which is shorter than the time period, than the communication timing as a new communication timing. When the set communication timing comes, data is communicated to the server if the predetermined condition is not satisfied and besides communication with the server is possible.
