Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to piece-part, sub-assembly, assembly, and component levels of a differential composed of a sun gear configuration and utilized in an integrated drive generator. An integrated drive generator is a hydro-mechanical transmission that drives a synchronous salient pole generator. The integrated drive generator is a constant speed output, variable speed input transmission that includes the differential and a hydraulic unit. In general, the integrated drive generator utilizes the variable speed input from an accessory gear box of an engine to drive or control a hydraulic unit, which in turn drives or controls a churn leg member of the differential. As the differential is driven, speeds of each speed member of the differential are then summed to generate the constant speed output to drive the synchronous salient pole generator.

Abstract: A pressure switch including a pressure chamber and a moving disc. The moving disc is moveable in response to a pressure in the pressure chamber to cause contact between a moveable contact and a fixed contact. An orifice communicates a fluid pressure into the pressure chamber. The orifice provides a tortuous path for a fluid flow to reach the pressure chamber. An oil supply system and a generator are also disclosed.

The first and second flange each have an axial length parallel to a longitudinal axis of the body of about 0.085±0.010 inches (0.216±0.0254 cm). The first and second flange having an outer diameter of 1.359 inches (3.452 cm). Abstract: A method of installing the terminal block assembly onto a generator includes the step of providing a terminal block with multiple terminal studs. Protrusions that are integral with the terminal block are aligned with corresponding bores in a generator housing. The terminal block is mounted on the generator housing with the protrusions received in the bores. A terminal lead assembly is inserted through the protrusion, and a terminal pad of the terminal lead assembly is arranged over the terminal stud. A terminal lug is fastened to the terminal stud. A terminal cover is secured to the terminal block over the terminal with a boss of the terminal block received in a corresponding recess of the terminal cover.
