Abstract:
An apparatus includes a light chamber defined by a lamp body and a front cover. The apparatus houses a projection-type light source unit which integrates a reflector, a light source disposed in the vicinity of a first focal point of the reflector, a convex lens disposed in front of the reflector, and an extension reflector. The convex lens is disposed such that light external from the lamp chamber enters the lamp chamber and is reflected out through the convex lens.

A contact structure, including: a first conductive layer; a insulating layer formed on the first conductive layer; a second conductive layer formed on the insulating layer; and a columnar structure, buried in a direction of film thickness in the insulating layer, electrically connecting the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer; wherein a reinforcement material is adhered to a vicinity of a root of the columnar structure.
Abstract:
An etching method of the invention includes arranging droplets including a film-forming material on a substrate, drying each of the droplets to form a dry film having a width smaller than the diameter of each droplet at the time of the arrangement, and performing etching while using the dry film as an etching protective film.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for removing wrinkles formed on a web, which is continuously transported through a plurality of guide members. The plurality of guide member includes a crown roller which has the diameter gradually increased toward the center thereof. The crown roller is placed in a transport path of the web and downstream of a first zone in which wrinkles are desirably removed, and the web is deformed in a second zone located downstream of the crown roller so as to at least decrease the width of the web, whereby the wrinkles in the first zone are removed. Even when the web is thin (10 μm or less), without using particular backup means, wrinkles formed during transport and coating of the web can be removed. In addition, since wrinkles are appropriately removed, a coating film having a uniform thickness can be obtained by an extrusion coating method.
Abstract:
In a the structure of end tape for revealing impending exhausting of a coating film tape supply, the end tape is connected to the core by a first single-sided adhesive tape, and to the coating film tape by a second single-sided adhesive tape, both adhesive tapes having a thickness of not more than 25μ. The thickness of the second single-sided adhesive tape is 20% to 70% of the total thickness of the adhered section where the second single-sided adhesive tape, the end tape and the coating film tape overlap, and at least 30% of the thickness of the adhered section where the second adhesive tape is adhered directly to the coating film tape. The thickness of the first adhesive tape is 30% to 70% of the total thickness of the adhered section, where the first adhesive tape and the end tape overlap.
Abstract:
A manufacturing method for an electrode for an electrochemical capacitor according to the present invention comprises a first process (steps S1-S3) for forming a polarizable electrode layer on a current collector, a second process (step S4) for subjecting the front surface of the polarizable electrode layer formed on the current collector, to an embossment work, and a third process (step S5) for flattening the front surface of the polarizable electrode layer as has undergone the embossment work. In this manner, in the invention, the front surface of the polarizable electrode layer undergoes the embossment work, so that the polarizable electrode layer is effectively compressed, and it is consequently permitted to achieve a high volume capacitance of at least 17 F/cm3. Moreover, after the embossment work, the resulting embossment is flattened, so that porous grains contained in the polarizable electrode layer are prevented from falling off, and it is permitted to ensure a high reliability.
Abstract:
A hair curling device has a hand grip, and a heating barrel extending from the hand grip to have a lengthwise axis. A hair clamp is held by the hand grip to be moveable between a hair lamping position and a release position. The hair clamp is curved in match with the curling surface in order to curl the hair clamped between the hair lamp and the barrel. The device includes at least one negative ion generator with an ion port for emitting negative ions. The negative ion generator gives a cone emission axis along which the negative ions are emitted out through the ion port in an emission cone. The ion port is located at a portion offset axially from the barrel as well as offset circumferentially from the hair clamp with the cone emission axis being oriented in such a direction that the emission cone extends mainly along the axial of the barrel to cover a region outwardly of the curling surface of the barrel, i.e., the hair clamp. Thus, the negative ion generator can emit the negative ions in a concentrated manner to the hair just out of the hair clamp for adding the negative ion treatment effect to the curled hair.
Abstract:
In a charge redistribution type A/D converter, an input-side capacitor terminal and a comparator-side capacitor terminal are connected through first and second analog switches to a fixed-voltage supply circuit, and the input-side capacitor terminal is connected through a third analog switch to the outside. Immediately before sampling an analog signal, the first and second analog switches are closed while the third analog switch is opened, according to a RESET signal. Thereby, fixed voltages are supplied to the input-side capacitor terminal and the comparator-side capacitor terminal, respectively, and charge stored in a weighting capacitor unit is initialized to a predetermined value.
Abstract:
Aspects of the invention can provide an alignment method that is preferably applicable when manufacturing equipments by liquid-phase processing. The alignment method in a device manufacturing process can include forming of a functional film on a substrate by liquid-phase processing, forming an alignment mark on the substrate on which the functional film is formed so as to make a pattern of the alignment mark appear on a film that is formed after forming the functional film, and aligning the film that is formed after forming the functional film by using the alignment mark.
Abstract:
An improved hair removing device is capable of controlling a dispensing amount of the lotion to give the lotion adequately as intended by a user for comfortable hair treatment. The device includes a housing carrying a hair removing head adapted to be held against a user's skin for hair depilation or epilation. The device further includes an applicator for dispensing the lotion on the user's skin, a tank holding the lotion, and a lotion supply mechanism for supplying the lotion from the tank to the applicator. The lotion supply mechanism is provided with a regulating means which regulates an amount of the lotion being dispensed from the applicator.
