    摘要: An apparatus for measuring the linewidth of a laser is disclosed in which the linewidth of a laser is measured in a wide range from a narrow linewidth to a wide linewidth by utilizing frequency-shifted rays based on a stimulated Brillouin scattering within an optical fiber in an easy and efficient manner. The apparatus according to the present invention includes: an optical signal generating and splitting means for generating optical signals under test, and for splitting them into two sets of signals; a frequency shifting means for amplifying the optical frequency of the optical source of the optical signal generating and splitting means, and then, irradiating the amplified signals into an optical fiber so as to shift the frequency based on a stimulated Brillouin phenomenon; a leading means for minimizing a loss of the frequency shifted rays outputted in a direction opposite to that of original laser beams of the frequency shifting means so as to leading them in a certain direction; and a spectrum analyzing means for receiving the original rays from the optical signal generating and splitting means and for receiving the frequency-shifted rays from the leading means so as to stimulate beatings and to analyze the beaten spectra. The apparatus is applied to measuring the linewidth and channel interval of a laser used in wavelength division multiplexing optical communications.

    摘要: An electrophotographic process cartridge develops an electrostatic latent image with two layers or less of polymeric toner. The electrophotographic process cartridge includes a charging roller for uniformly distributing a layer of electrical charge on an outer surface of a photosensitive drum, a developing roller for transferring particles of polymeric toner each having a substantially spherical shape onto the outer surface of the photosensitive drum, and a control roller for engaging an outer surface of the developing roller to enable formation of two layers or less of polymeric toner particles on the outer surface of the developing roller. The particles of polymeric toner are transferred from the outer surface of the developing roller to the outer surface of the photosensitive drum for a printing operation, and remaining toner particles are transferred from the outer surface of the photosensitive drum back to the outer surface of the developing roller after the printing operation by a bias voltage applied to the developing roller.

    摘要: An LCD device provides enhanced display quality. An insulating layer is formed on a first substrate. The insulating layer covers the contact portion of a switching device in which the switching device is electrically connected to a transparent electrode and has an opening for exposing a portion of the transparent electrode. A reflection electrode is electrically connected to the transparent electrode through the opening. The insulation layer covers a first portion of a driving circuit formed on the first substrate. A sealant is interposed between the first and second substrate to engage the first and second substrate and to cover a second portion of the driving circuit. Therefore, the driver circuit may operate normally, and the distortion of the signal outputted from the driver circuit may be prevented.

Each chip scale package of an adjacent pair of chip scale packages is attached to the other in a manner that the ball land pads of the upper stacked chip scale package face in the opposite direction to those of the lower stacked chip scale package, and the circuit patterns of the upper stacked chip scale package are electrically connected to the those of the lower stacked chip scale package by, for example, connecting boards.
