摘要： The invention is directed to a system and methods for automatically determining a multiple number of viable treatment plans for correcting a patient's vision via photoablative refractive surgery. Embodiments of the invention rely on selected various diagnostic input about the patient's eye to classify the eye as being particularly suitable for treatment by several different treatment algorithms. The invention is further directed to the simultaneous presentation of various treatment plans based upon selected input data and available treatment algorithms that can be reviewed, modified, and ultimately selected for application. A system embodiment according to the invention includes a component for receiving the diagnostic input data about the patient's vision, for analyzing the input data and determining the potentially usable treatment algorithms, and for processing the potentially usable treatment algorithms based upon the input data, and a component for displaying the multilevel graphical user interface which facilitates review, modification, and selection of viable treatment plans for correcting the patient's vision. The system is further operably associated with a storage medium for storing calculated and selected treatment plans which include executable instructions for a photoablative laser component of the system to deliver a selected treatment plan to the patient's eye.

摘要： A lighter device having a flow restrictor and associated methods for manufacturing and testing such lighter device and flow restrictor are described. The flow restrictor may be formed of a porous member to achieve a substantially fixed or varying flame height. The flow restrictor may be tested before or after assembly into a lighter housing by receiving a non-combustible fluid therethrough. The flow rate of the non-combustible fluid may be correlated to the flow rate of a combustible fluid through the flow restrictor to approximate the resultant flame height of a lighter incorporating the tested flow restrictor. The flow restrictor may also be tested by receiving a combustible fluid therethrough prior to assembling the flow restrictor into the lighter housing. In this manner, flow restrictors and corresponding lighter devices may be tested without introducing combustible fluids into such lighter devices prior to shipment. Also, a vacuum may be drawn on a fuel tank of the lighter prior to shipment.

The lid is arranged with the body to resist entry into the cassette interior. Integral stiffening ribs are provided. The body side walls include integrally formed guide tracks. A one-piece tambour door is securely movable along the guide tracks. The upper edge of each body side wall extends into a gap created between double-walled side walls of the lid when the lid is closed. A tab, which projects outward from an upper edge of a body side wall, extends even further into the closed lid. The tab becomes nested in an aligned slot in the lid when the lid is closed. A nested tab affords further cassette security by providing resistance to lid and body separation.

In response to each of the weights obtained by all of the plurality of loading stations exceeding a predetermined first weight, the self-checkout system is configured to initiate a first alarm detectable by the user, and in response to the first alarm being initiated, the self-checkout system is configured to prevent additional goods from being scanned by the scanner. In response to each of the weights obtained by all of the plurality of loading stations being below or substantially at a predetermined second weight, the self-checkout system is configured to allow additional goods to be scanned by the scanner after the first alarm is initiated. A computer program product to operate the system is also included.

摘要： An exhaust assembly includes a first pipe with a ball portion and a second pipe with a flare portion that is positioned in an overlapping relationship with the ball portion. The ball portion and flare portion are slidable relative to each other to allow alignment adjustment between the first and second pipes. A connector assembly includes a first connector member supported by the first pipe, a second connector member supported by the second pipe, and a clamp member that is used to serviceably connect the first and second pipes together. The first connector member includes a first plurality of fingers that are alternated with a second plurality of fingers on the second connector member. The clamp member is received within a groove formed about an outer circumference of the first and second connector members when the first and second pluralities of fingers are aligned with each other. The clamp member is easily removed for service operations as needed.
