    摘要: A piezoelectric resonator is immersed in a liquid, an AC signal is applied, and a local maximum of the conductance is determined. A frequency change due to the viscosity effect is determined from two frequencies of three frequencies including a resonance frequency that is applied at that local maximum, and first and second half-value frequencies at which a half-value conductance of half that local maximum is given. The influence of the mass effect can be eliminated, so that an accurate measurement of the viscosity change is possible. Moreover, if the substance to be analyzed that is contained in the liquid adheres to a reaction film of the piezoelectric resonator, the mass of the piezoelectric resonator changes, and the second half-value frequency is measured. It is thus possible to derive only the influence of the mass effect, since the half-value frequencies are not influenced by the viscosity effect.

    摘要: The present invention provides an open/close valve which contributes the stabilization of the operation responsibility. A housing has a water-in port and a water-out port. Furthermore, a piston which is slidably mounted in the housing in an axial direction by means of an external operation of a shaft, and a pressure offset means for offsetting the pressure which the piston receives from water in the water-out port to the other side are provided. The piston is attached to a seat face of the housing by being slided on one side in an axial direction to close the communication between the water-in port and the water-out port, and the piston is detached to the seat face of the housing by being slided on the other side in an axial direction to open the communication between the water-in port and the water-out port. The pressure offset means comprises a pressure offset room which is formed at the other side of the piston, and a passage for communicating one side of the piston with the pressure offset room.

    摘要: A measurement method and a biosensor apparatus using a resonator with which it is not necessary to agitate a sample solution in a cell and even if the amount of the sample solution is very small the influence of pressure waves is greatly reduced and extremely easy and accurate measurement is possible. In a method of the kind wherein a sample solution is brought into contact with one side of a resonator having first and second electrodes on opposite sides of a crystal plate and an a.c. signal is applied across the first and second electrodes and a frequency change of the resonator is measured from a relationship between the frequency of the a.c. signal and an electrical characteristic of the resonator, the resonator is made to oscillate at an N-tuple harmonic (N=3, 5, 7 . . . ) as the frequency change is measured.

It is possible to obtain a sheet-like light source device which can ensure high impact resistance even if the device is large in size, which can be manufactured at a low cost and which can suppress the occurrence of uneven brightness.

    摘要: An electric connection unit includes a gas-tight housing to be put between a test board and a probe card located separately from each other. The housing has a plurality of pairs of contact pins each pair interconnected by a conductor wire and movably and gas-tightly inserted through holes formed in opposing walls of the housing, to be movable without being subjected to restriction of the conductor wire. A gas is introduced into the housing to push each pair of contact pins outwardly so that each pair of contact pins are brought into contact with corresponding conductive pads provided on test board and the probe card, with a constant contact pressure determined by a gas pressure. Even if there is variation in the projection length of the contact pins and in the distance to the conductive pads, all the contact pins can be brought into contact with corresponding conductive pads with a uniform contact pressure, with the result that an excellent and reliable electric connection can be obtained.
