摘要: An apparatus for dispensing a carbonated beverage includes a sub-chamber (12) that communicates with a main container (11). In use, prior to filling the sub-chamber (12) it is pressurised to greater than or equal to the equilibrium pressure required to keep the dissolved gas in solution. This has the effect that the beverage does not froth out of a dispenser nozzle. It also has the effect of keeping beverage in the main container (11) from losing carbonation. The invention has particular application to “Optic” devices for dispensing carbonated spirit drinks.

摘要: A mount for attaching a projection device to an overhead structure includes a device interface operably attachable to the projection device and a device orientation adjustment structure operably coupled with the device interface. The device orientation adjustment structure has structure defining up to three independent axes for adjustment of projector pitch, roll, and yaw. A single selectively adjustable friction element may be provided to enable projector position to be fixed about for any one or all of the independent axes. A gear adjustment mechanism may be provided to enable fine adjustment of projector position. Moreover, any one or all of the independent axes may pass through the projector device, preferably proximate its center of gravity so that it is self balanced on the mount to ease adjustment.

摘要: Drive systems and methods of use are disclosed herein for performing medical procedures on a patient. The drive systems include various handle types and triggers for controlling catheters and end effectors. The various handle types include a flexible handle and ambidextrous handles that can alter the handedness of the handle for particularized use. The handles drive articulation sections of the catheter and end effectors with various degrees of freedom, and include locks for holding the catheter and/or end effector in place. The catheter systems include structures for allowing degrees of freedom, such as notches, mechanical interlocks, and articulation joints. In addition, the catheters articulate via cables or fluids.

摘要: A thin-film transistor, such as a top-gate thin-film transistor, is provided herein. The thin-film transistor has a performance-enhancing layer, such as a performance-enhancing bottom layer, comprising a polymer other than a polyimide. In specific embodiments, the polymer is selected from the group consisting of polysiloxane, polysilsesquioxane, and mixtures thereof. In other embodiments, it is a self-assembling polymeric monolayer of a silane agent and an organophosphonic acid. The performance-enhancing layer directly contacts the substrate. The layer improves the carrier mobility and current on/off ratio of the thin film transistor.

摘要: The phase change ink a viscosity of from about 4 mPa-s to about 50 mPa-s at a first temperature and has a viscosity of from 104 mPa-s to about 109 mPa-s at a second lower temperature. The second temperature may be below the first temperature by at least 10° C. but by no more than 50° C. The first temperature may be from about 60° C. to about 110° C. and the second temperature may be from about 20° C. to about 70 ° C. A curve of log10 viscosity of the phase change ink plotted against temperature in degrees Celsius may have a slope having an absolute value less than 0.02 at the first temperature and have a slope having an absolute value greater than 0.08 for at least a region second temperatures.
