    摘要: Semiconductor layers having a p-n junction are formed over the surface of a semiconductor substrate except for a partial surface. On the partial surface of the semiconductor substrate, a region of an electrode to be connected with an external terminal is formed with an insulating film interposed between the same. Bonding connection with the external terminal is performed on the region for connection, to reduce mechanical damage of the semiconductor layers having the p-n junction while improving photoelectric conversion efficiency and reliability of the device.

    摘要: A bile acid derivative having carcinostatic activity represented by the following formula (1): ##STR1## wherein each of R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 is a hydrogen atom or a hydroxyl group, R.sub.3 is a hydroxyl group, benzyloxyl group or --NH--CH.sub.2n R.sub.5 (wherein R.sub.5 is a carboxyl group or sulfonyl group, and n represents the integer of 1 or 2), X is a halogen atom, R.sub.4 is a hydrogen atom or XCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 --,.chi. is an .alpha.-bond, and .chi. is an .alpha.- or .beta.-bond is produced by the steps (a) and (b), the steps (a), (b) and (c), or the steps (a), (b), (c) and (d) described below:(a) causing an active carbonation reagent to react with a bile acid derivative wherein the carboxyl group is esterified;(b) causing an aminoalkylhalide to react with the active carbonated product obtained;(c) subjecting the bile acid derivative obtained in the above steps (a) and (b) to hydrolysis; and(d) causing the above hydrolyzate to react with an aminoalkyl derivative in the presence of a condensing agent.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for improving the sharpness of a video picture displayed on the screen of a cathode ray tube. At least one electron beam scans the screen in line-scanning and vertical directions, respectively, the electron beam having its intensity modulated in accordance with a video signal. The scanning velocity of the electron beam is modulated in the line-scanning direction in accordance with transitions of the video signal which correspond to transitions between high and low brightness levels of the displayed video picture. Each electron beam is shaped to have a substantially oval shape whose longer axis is disposed in the line-scanning direction and whose shorter axis is disposed in the vertical direction, whereby the oval-shaped beam impinges upon the display screen and the sharpness of the displayed video picture in the vertical direction is improved.

    摘要: According to one embodiment, a frequency control apparatus includes an eccentric component storage module, a frequency correction amount calculating module, and an oscillator control module. The eccentric component storage module stores in advance an eccentric component calculated by a discrete Fourier transform of the number of clock signals measured for each servo frame. The frequency correction amount calculating module calculates the number of clock signals corresponding to the servo frame based on the eccentric component stored in the eccentric component storage module and calculates a frequency correction amount corresponding to the servo frame based on the number of clock signals. The oscillator control module controls the operation of a frequency oscillator such that a frequency for oscillating a clock signal in the frequency oscillator is adjusted according to the frequency correction amount calculated by the frequency correction amount calculating module.
