    摘要: An electrochemical display apparatus in which simple matrix driving is realized, whereby apparatus constitution can be simplified, and the price of the apparatus can be lowered. The electrochemical display apparatus performs display by use of electrochemical deposition/dissolution of a metal. The display apparatus is driven by a simple matrix driving system, in which a deposition overvoltage at the time of deposition of metallic ions as the metal is used as a threshold in the simple matrix driving. A driving voltage is set to be not more than two times the deposition overvoltage. The electrochemical display apparatus includes transparent electrodes and counter electrodes, the display is performed by utilizing deposition/dissolution of the metal on the transparent electrodes, and the potential difference between the metal to be deposited on the transparent electrodes and the counter electrodes is set to be less than the deposition overvoltage. Ideally, the same metal as the metal which is deposited is used for constituting the counter electrodes.

    摘要: An ignition system for an internal combustion engine is disclosed. The ignition system includes a timing signal detector responsive to the rotation speed of an engine to generate a pulse signal including a leading edge and a trailing edge corresponding to the ignition timing and having a predetermined duty cycle, a triangular wave generator for generating a triangular wave voltage synchronized with the trailing edge of the pulse signal, a voltage storing circuit for storing the voltage level of the triangular wave voltage in synchronism with the leading edge of the pulse signal, a voltage divider for dividing the stored voltage in the voltage storing circuit to generate a reference voltage, a comparator for comparing the reference voltage and the triangular wave voltage to detect a difference therebetween, a charging and discharging controller for correcting the stored voltage in the voltage storing circuit so as to reduce to zero the difference at the leading edge of the pulse signal, a threshold voltage generator for generating a threshold voltage which is offset from the stored voltage by an amount corresponding to the desired dwell time of an ignition coil, and an energization controller for controlling the dwell time of the ignition coil in accordance with the result of a comparison between the threshold voltage and the triangular wave voltage.

The electromagnetic brake includes an electromagnetic coil and an electromagnetic yoke secured to the housing, so that when the brake side differential gear is prevented from rotating by the electromagnetic brake the electric motor controls displacement of the output member, and when the brake side differential gear is freely rotatable relative to the housing the output member is freely rotatable irrespective of the rotation of the electric motor.

    摘要: The timing of spark ignition is set in normal operating conditions at a programed spark advance angle corresponding to the MBT (minimum spark advance for best torque).     摘要: A following distance measuring communication system comprising a transmitter and a receiver which are mounted on the front part of a following automotive vehicle, a time measuring unit connected to the transmitter and the receiver provided on the following automobile, and an answering transmitter-receiver unit mounted on the rear part of a preceeding vehicle. A pulse modulated signal is transmitted from the transmitter on the following vehicle, and this signal is received by the answering transmitter-receiver unit on the preceeding vehicle. At the instant that the signal is received, the answering transmitter-receiver unit on the preceeding vehicle generates a reply signal which is in turn received by the receiver on the following vehicle. The time required for this process is measured by the time measuring unit connected to the following vehicle receiver to determine the distance between the following vehicle and the preceeding vehicle.
