摘要: A hardened powder ring, being a hardened block of talc powder, is inserted into an annular end space between a housing and a sensing element. A pushing member presses and crashes the hardened powder ring into talc powder, thereby stuffing the talc powder into the annular end space. An inner radius rp and an outer radius Rp of the pushing member have the relationship 0.275 mm≦rp−Re≦0.375 mm and 0.15 mm≦rh−Rp≦0.25 mm with respect to an outer radius Re of the sensing element and an inner radius rh of the housing. A press portion of pushing member has an inner curved surface having a curvature radius of 0.3˜0.4 mm and an outer curved surface having a curvature radius of 0.3˜0.5 mm.

摘要: In a carburetor for an internal combustion engine, a control valve is disposed with an air passage through the carburetor structure to control the flow quantity of air to be mixed with fuel from a float chamber and a pneumatic servo-motor is operatively connected with the control valve to control the opening degree of the valve. The pneumatic pressure applied to the servo-motor is electrically controlled to satisfy the following function in relation to the engine intake manifold vacuum and the engine speed.Pd=f(Pv, N)where the character Pd is the pneumatic pressure applied to the servo-motor, and the characters Pv and N respectively indicate the engine intake manifold vacuum and the engine speed.

摘要: In an exhaust gas recirculation system including a recirculation passage to provide a communication between an intake pipe and an exhaust pipe of an internal combustion engine, a flow control valve associated with a pneumatic servomotor to control the quantity of exhaust gas flowing through the recirculation passage in accordance with the pneumatic pressure applied to the servomotor, and first and second electrically operated valves to selectively apply negative pressure and the atmospheric pressure to the servomotor, a digital computer is adapted to calculate a desired opening degree of the flow control valve in response to an electric signal indicative of operating conditions of the engine, to calculate each energization time of the valves defined by a difference between the actual opening degree of the flow control valve and the calculated value in response to an electric signal indicative of the actual opening degree of the flow control valve, and to generate an output signal indicative of the calculated energization time.

摘要: In a carburetor and an exhaust gas recirculation system adapted to an internal combustion engine, the system comprises a first servomotor to be operated by pneumatic pressure and a first control valve actuated by the first servomotor to control the quantity of exhaust gases recirculated into an intake manifold from an exhaust pipe, and the carburetor comprises a second servomotor to be operated by pneumatic pressure and a second control valve actuated by the second servomotor to control the flow quantity of air to be mixed with fuel from a float chamber. 摘要: A supercharged internal combustion engine is provided with a turbo supercharger mounted on an intake pipe and driven by engine exhaust gases to produce a pressurized intake air to be fed into the engine. A bypass intake pipe branches out of the intake pipe upstream of the supercharger and merges into the intake pipe at a point downstream of the supercharger. A first valve member is disposed in the intake pipe adjacent to the merging point to control the communication between the intake pipe and the bypass intake pipe and the communication between the upstream part of the intake pipe and the downstream part of the intake pipe. A first and second air release ports are formed in the intake pipe, one of which is disposed between the supercharger and the merging point and the other is disposed downstream of the merging point. Second and third valve members are provided to open and close the first and second air release ports, respectively. The first and second valve members are pneumatically actuated in accordance with the variation in the engine intake manifold pressure, whereas the third valve member is moved to its open position when the pressure in the intake pipe downstream of the merging point exceeds a predetermined level.

摘要: A fuel control system for a multicylinder internal combustion engine, wherein the fuel is metered by a fuel metering device having one fuel metering orifice whose degree of opening is variable depending upon the quantity of intake air and a differential pressure regulating valve for maintaining the differential pressure across the fuel metering orifice at a predetermined magnitude, and a distributor has a plurality of distribution valves equal in number to the cylinders of the engine, each distribution valve being hydraulically communicated with the fuel metering device, and a plurality of pressure equalizing valves also equal in number to the cylinders, each pressure equalizing valve being communicated with each distribution valve. The whole quantity of fuel to be supplied to the respective cylinders is precisely metered by the fuel metering device in proportion to the quantity of intake air, and the metered fuel is uniformly distributed among the fuel injection nozzles by the distributor.
