摘要: A dispenser device, including an outlet, air expeller including a piston that slides in an air chamber between rest position and dispensing positions, and a reservoir containing a dose composition. The reservoir includes an air inlet connected to the air expeller, and a composition outlet connected to the outlet, the air inlet including a composition retainer member, and the composition outlet being closed by a closure element force fitted in the composition outlet of the reservoir. A mechanical opening system co-operates with the closure element to expel it from its closed position while the device is actuated. The piston, when in its rest position, co-operates in non-airtight manner with the air chamber so that the air chamber communicates with the atmosphere. The piston includes an inner lip co-operating with a cylindrical surface, the cylindrical surface including fluting co-operating in non-airtight manner with the inner lip in the rest position.

摘要: A dispenser device including a dispenser head (1), an outlet (10); an air expeller (20), and a reservoir (30). The reservoir includes an air inlet (31) connected to the air expeller and a composition outlet (32) connected to the dispenser outlet. The air inlet includes a composition retainer member (40), and the composition outlet (32) is closed by a closure element (50) force fitted in the composition outlet. A mechanical opening system (61, 62) co-operates with the closure element (50) to expel it. The reservoir removably mounted on the air expeller, so that after actuation, the empty reservoir can be removed and replaced. The air expeller is returned to its rest position while an empty reservoir is replaced. A breakable part (70) is assembled on the reservoir and/or the dispenser head and includes an indicator element (71) connected by a breakable bridge (72).

摘要: A device for the treatment of pneumothorax especially in neonates, which facilitates the simple one-hand introduction of a catheter-sheathed stylet through the chest wall and which contains a one-way valve outside the chest for the stat evacuation of the intrathoracic air or fluid. The device is capable of secure fixation to the chest wall until deemed no longer needed at which point it is quickly removable. The thoracic cavity is entered by a stylet which is surrounded by a catheter, the catheter lumen continuous with that of a lumenized dome which communicates with at least one upper port and one-way valving. One port is configured to allow Luer-Lok suction in the event of pleural effusion or hemothorax.

摘要: A dispenser for discharging an in particular granular or powdery substance by blow-out, has a blow-out duct, and a suction line opening into the blow-out duct for sucking the substance into the blow-out duct. A positive air pressure can be built up in a duct section arranged upstream of the blow-out duct and closed in the direction of the blow-out duct by a valve opening in a pressure-dependent manner, for pressure-controlled formation of a blow-out stream in the blow-out duct. A method for emptying a substance reservoir having a freeze-dried substance sucks the substance out of the substance reservoir, using a suction air stream opening into a blowing stream, and discharges the substance. A sucking/blowing dispenser is used for emptying a substance reservoir having a freeze-dried substance.

摘要: A negative pressure wound therapy apparatus that can include a wound dressing, a fluid collection device, a vacuum pump comprising a pump motor, and tubing can be powered by auxiliary power sources such as high efficiency batteries, photovoltaic panels or cells, fuel cells, combustion generators, human powered generators, or other mechanical, electrical, or chemical power sources such as hand operated dynamos or wound springs, or any combination of the foregoing. Additionally, the apparatus can include a high efficiency pressure controller for controlling the output of the vacuum pump. In some embodiments, the pressure controller can control the pump without using a processor, and can have other features such as an intermittent delay function and an anti-stall mechanism to reduce the energy consumption of the apparatus.

摘要: A surgical instrument has a hollow tubular member, and a pressurization unit that has an outer valve portion, a pressurization device having a movable part configured to generate pressurized fluid when the movable part is moved, and an inner valve portion. The inner valve portion includes a first flow passage that is configured to connect a first port and a second port of the outer valve portion to each other when the inner valve portion is in a first position, and a second flow passage that is configured to connect the first port of the outer valve portion to the pressurization device when the inner valve portion is in a second position. Pressurized fluid from the pressurization device causes the inner valve portion to move from the first position to the second position, thereby providing positive pressure to the hollow tubular member.
