摘要: A system includes a pressure exchanger (PX) to receive a first fluid at a first pressure, second fluid at a second pressure, and exchange pressure between the first fluid and the second fluid. The first fluid is to exit the PX at a third pressure and the second fluid is to exit the PX at a fourth pressure. A first condenser is to receive the first fluid from a compressor and provide thermal energy from the first fluid to a first environment. A second condenser is to receive the second fluid from the PX and provide thermal energy from the second fluid to a second environment. A heat exchanger is to receive the first fluid from the first condenser and the second fluid from the second condenser, provide thermal energy from the first fluid to the second fluid, and provide the first fluid to the PX.

摘要: A fluid handling system includes a pressure exchanger (PX) configured to receive a first fluid at a first pressure and a second fluid at a second pressure and exchange pressure between the first fluid and the second fluid. The system further includes a condenser configured to provide corresponding thermal energy from the first fluid to a corresponding environment. The system further includes a receiver to receive the first fluid output by the PX. The receiver forms a chamber to separate the first fluid into a first gas and a first liquid. The system further includes a first booster to increase pressure of a portion of the first gas to form the second fluid at the second pressure and provide the second fluid at the second pressure to the PX.

摘要: A method for monitoring a refrigerant charge in a vapour compression system (1) is disclosed, the vapour compression system (1) including a compressor unit (2), a heat rejecting heat exchanger (3), a high pressure expansion device (4), a receiver (5), at least one expansion device (9, 10), and at least one evaporator (11, 12) arranged in a refrigerant path. A change in net mass flow into or out of the receiver (5) and/or a change in net enthalpy flow into or out of the receiver (5) is detected, and a pressure inside the receiver (5) is monitored as a function of time, following the detected change in net mass flow and/or in net enthalpy flow. A time constant being representative for dynamics of the receiver (5) is derived, based on the monitored pressure as a function of time, and information regarding a refrigerant charge in the vapour compression system (1) is derived, based on the derived time constant.

摘要: A system includes a control module and a monitor module. The control module selectively operates a component of the system in an ON state. The system receives power from an electrical grid. The monitor module selectively detects a fault event of the electrical grid in response to (i) an amount of current drawn by the component or (ii) a voltage of power received by the component. In response to detecting the fault event, the control module switches the component from the ON state to a second state, determines a first delay period according to a random process, identifies an apparent conclusion of the fault event, and in response to the apparent conclusion of the fault, waits for the first delay period before switching the component back to the ON state. The component consumes less power in the second state than in the ON state.

The controller is operable to receive information associated with a load of the refrigeration system and information associated with the compressors. The controller is also operable to determine a first efficiency value and a second efficiency value based on the information associated with the compressors, wherein the first efficiency value is associated with allocating the load among one or more of the compressors according to a first compressor staging and the second efficiency value is associated with allocating the load among one or more of the compressors according to a second compressor staging. The controller is also operable to operate the compressors with the load allocated according to the compressor staging associated with the more efficient efficiency value.

摘要: The present invention relates to an air-conditioner system for a vehicle and a method for controlling the same, and more particularly, to an air-conditioner system for a vehicle and a method for controlling the same which can change a target superheat degree depending on variation in an amount of refrigerant discharged from a compressor, namely, gradually decrease the target superheat degree by stages as the amount of refrigerant discharged from the compressor decreases, and control an electronic expansion valve based on the target superheat degree dropping by stages, thereby preventing performance degradation of an air conditioner and stabilizing the system by restraining a change in the superheat degree in an area where an amount of refrigerant discharged from a compressor varies.

摘要: A torque estimating device of a compressor for an ejector-type refrigerant cycle device includes a high pressure detector disposed to detect a physical amount having a relation with a high-pressure side refrigerant pressure of a refrigerant cycle, an evaporation pressure detector disposed to detect a physical amount having a relation with a refrigerant evaporation pressure in a suction side evaporator, a pressurizing estimating portion for estimating a pressurizing amount in a pressure increasing portion of an ejector to be increased in accordance with an increase of a pressure difference between the high-pressure side refrigerant pressure and the refrigerant evaporation pressure, and a suction pressure estimating portion for estimating a suction refrigerant pressure of the compressor by using the pressurizing amount estimated by the pressurizing estimating portion. Thus, a drive torque of the compressor can be accurately estimated in the ejector-type refrigerant cycle device.
