摘要: An approach is provided for selecting variable message signs (VMS). More particularly, this disclosure relates to personalized VMS delivered to a driver of a vehicle via an on-board display. The approach monitors driver behavior to form a driver behavior history and an analytic analysis is applied to the driver behavior history to determine characteristics of the driver. When a wireless notification is received from an external data provider, the notification is modified based on the determined driver characteristics, and the modified notification is displayed to the driver on a display device visible within the vehicle that is being operated by the driver.

摘要: Power-efficient data collection by a personal imaging device regarding a user's interaction with an application on a mobile device by automatically switching on and off costly, power-consuming applications of the personal imaging device without the use of a radio signal. The personal imaging device detects a visual start signal displayed on the mobile device of a tagged application on the mobile device. The personal imaging device activates sensors of the personal imaging device for collecting data regarding the user's interaction with the application on the mobile device. The personal imaging device collects data regarding the user's interaction with the application on the mobile device via the activated sensors and stores the data in a repository. The personal imaging device detects a visual end signal displayed on the mobile device, ending data collection.

摘要: Remote instruction and monitoring of health care may be facilitated by providing feedback to a local doctor performing the medical procedure while the local doctor is performing the medical procedure. Instructions for performing the medical procedure may be received from a remote doctor and transmitted to a local doctor. The local doctor may commence performing the medical procedure, and while the local doctor is performing the medical procedure, image or video of the medical procedure may be processed and compared to the instructions. For example, a first value of a parameter may be obtained from the image or video of the procedure and a second value of the parameter may be obtained from the instructions. Comparison data may be generated from the first value and the second value and presented to the local doctor and/or the remote doctor.

摘要: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for virtualizing graphics processing in a provider network are disclosed. A virtual compute instance is provisioned from a provider network. The provider network comprises a plurality of computing devices configured to implement a plurality of virtual compute instances with multi-tenancy. A virtual GPU is attached to the virtual compute instance. The virtual GPU is implemented using a physical GPU, and the physical GPU is accessible to the virtual compute instance over a network. An application is executed using the virtual GPU on the virtual compute instance. Executing the application generates virtual GPU output that is provided to a client device.

摘要: In sending mail data that is addressed to a plurality of BCC destinations, the contents of an additional mail message body can be change individually for the BCC destinations. A communication device includes an accepting module, a mail generation module, a transmission module. The accepting module accepts a mail message body and a plurality of BCC destinations and also accepts the setting of group attributes indicating groups to which the BCC destinations belong and additional contents that are added to the main message body individually for the group attributes. The mail generation module generates mail data including the additional contents corresponding to the groups to which the BCC destinations belong and the mail message body and addressed to the BCC destinations for which the accepting module accepts the group attributes. The transmission module sends the mail data generated by the mail data generation module to a mail server.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for authoring, deploying, and executing layer stack images for applications directed to a plurality of target devices. Resources to implement the layer stack images are compiled into an asset catalog database for each image in each layer stack image for each target device. Derivative resource products, such as a flattened version of the layer stack images and a “blurred” version of layer stack images can be generated and stored in the asset catalog at compile and build time. Three-dimensional effects implemented using the layer stack images can be implemented using an application programming interface that accepts legacy two dimensional images can be used to receive the layer stack images. An platform framework implements logic that detects the type of image requested via the API is a layer stack image or a conventional flat image. Third party layer stack images can be received and displayed at run-time or compile time. Images that make up a layer stack image can be locally-stored, externally referenced, or both. A layer stack image can, itself, refer to other layer stack images.

摘要: An aspect of the present disclosure provides for customizing electronic page display based on user interactions. In an embodiment, a web page is displayed in response to a first request. The selection points on the web page are received, and new values are computed for the parameters defining the display characteristics of some of the interactive elements based on the selection points received on the displayed web page. The web page is thereafter sent for display based on the new value for such interactive elements. In one embodiment, the new value corresponds to a width or height parameter, and the size of a first element is increased upon mis-selections found associated with the first element. In another embodiment, the new value corresponds to an inter-element distance between a pair of elements, when mis-selections are found associated with one of the pair of elements.
