Abstract:
A method of enhancing a visual image of a display is described. The visual image is displayed on a first display of a display device having a first display pixel density and a first display dimension. The display device detects an enhancer device oriented in an operable position to the display device. The enhancer display device has a second display having a second display pixel density higher than the first display pixel density and a second display dimension less than the first display dimension. A spatial orientation is determined between the first display of the display device with the second display of the enhancer display device. The display device sends the visual image and the spatial orientation to the enhancer display device to display a portion of the visual image that is defined by the spatial orientation on the second display in the second display pixel density.
Abstract:
A process detects, at a first proximity-based device within a first object, presence of a second proximity-based device within a second object. The presence is within a proximity. Further, the process modifies a first display associated with the first object based upon a second display associated with the second object.
Abstract:
A display management unit configured to provide a modified video signal for display on a target display over an electronic distribution network. The unit may access information regarding the target display and at least one input. The unit comprises a database interface configured to retrieve display characteristics corresponding to the information regarding the target display from a characteristics database, and a mapping unit configured to map at least one of tone and color values from the at least one input to corresponding mapped values based at least in part on the retrieved display characteristics to produce the modified video signal.
Abstract:
Image data is adjusted for display on a target display. Maximum safe expansions for one or more attributes of the image data are compared to maximum available expansions for the attributes. An amount of expansion is selected that does not exceed either of the maximum safe expansion and the maximum available expansion. Artifacts caused by over expansion may be reduced or avoided.
Abstract:
Remote control methods, systems, and devices are described. In one aspect, a remote control method using a wearable device is provided. In the method, a communication connection is established with a remote camera over a network and the field of view (FoV) of the remote camera is controlled according to a detected movement of the user wearing the wearable device.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus includes a hardware processor configured to display a first icon indicative of a first group and a second icon indicative of a second group, display handwriting made on a first electronic apparatus and a second electronic apparatus of the first group if the first icon is selected, display handwriting made on a third electronic apparatus and a fourth electronic apparatus of the second group if the second icon is selected, receive a selection of a first file, transmit the first file to the first and second electronic apparatus if the first group is selected through the first icon, and transmit the first file to the third and fourth electronic apparatus if the second group is selected through the second icon.
Abstract:
This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus for altering the selected operating mode and image formation characteristics of a content item displayed on a display device. The content item can include a license header that includes a permission code and a preferred operating mode. The preferred operating mode can specify a selected operating mode or image formation characteristics preselected for display of the content item. Control logic can check the permission code against a permission code table to determine one or more permissions associated with the content item. A valid permission code can allow the control logic to alter the current selected operating mode and/or image formation characteristics based on the selected operating mode and/or image formation characteristics specified by the preferred operating mode in the license header.
Abstract:
A transmission apparatus includes a data transmission unit that transmits image data with a wide color gamut to an external apparatus over a transmission path; and an information transmission unit that transmits additional information on the image data with the wide color gamut that is transmitted by the data transmission unit and information on a transmission method for the additional information, to the external apparatus over the transmission path.
Abstract:
Embodiments of apparatus, computer-implemented methods, systems, devices, and computer-readable media are described herein for facilitation of concurrent consumption of media content by a first user of a first computing device and a second user of a second computing device. In various embodiments, facilitation may include superimposition of an animation of the second user over the media content presented on the first computing device, based on captured visual data of the second user received from the second computing device. In various embodiments, the animation may be visually emphasized on determination of the first user's interest in the second user. In various embodiments, facilitation may include conditional alteration of captured visual data of the first user based at least in part on whether the second user has been assigned a trusted status, and transmittal of the altered or unaltered visual data of the first user to the second computing device.
Abstract:
A method and assembly for use with a display configuration including a master sub-space and a plurality of slave sub-spaces, the assembly for controlling an information sharing session, the assembly comprising a processor linked to the display configuration and programmed to perform the steps of obtaining identification information from information sources usable to generate images on the sub-spaces during a session, presenting an interface via the master sub-space, the interface including a master workspace area for presenting images via the master sub-space and a tool area including source icons and panel icons associated with session images wherein each of the source and panel icons is selectable to create images within the master workspace area.
