    摘要: A CT scanner which collects X-ray projection data of a subject and which generates an image in the subject from the projection data, the CT scanner includes tubes which emit X-rays and which include grids to switch emission and stoppage of the X-rays, a unit which generates a high voltage to be supplied to the tubes, a cable which sends the high voltage to each of the tubes, circuits which change potentials of the grids arranged in the tubes, respectively, a control unit which controls the circuits to switch the emission and the stoppage of the X-rays in a pulse manner while the tubes rotate around the subject, detectors arranged to face the tubes, respectively, and a unit which validates an output signal from the detector facing the tube emitting the X-rays and which invalidates an output signal from the detector facing the tube stopping the emission of the X-rays.

    摘要: An RF device comprising a plurality of drift tubes, each drift tube having a plurality of gaps defining resonant cavities, is immersed in an axial magnetic field. RF energy is introduced at an input RF port at one of these resonant cavities and collected at an output RF port at a different RF cavity. A plurality of electron beams passes through these drift tubes, and each electron beam has an individual magnetic shaping applied which enables confined beam transport through the drift tubes.

    摘要: A grid for an electron tube with an axial beam which includes an apertured part through which the electrons of the beam are intended to pass. The grid is in the form of a bell and is made of a single material. The apertured part is located at the top of the bell but is placed in the bottom of a hollow so that the electrons passing through the grid around its periphery are focused onto the axis. Such a grid may find particular application to IOT-type tubes.

    摘要: An electron gun arrangement includes a cathode having a front surface and control grid located in front of it. The control grid is mounted via a cylindrical support on a Kovar mount. The cathode is supported by a cylindrical support mounted on a Kovar support. Ceramic material being located between the two supports. The vacuum envelope within which the electron gun is contained includes the Kovar support and a flexible member with which it makes a vacuum seal, this member being of copper. The copper member is sealed to a ceramic cylinder via metal flanges. The assembly permits the spacing between the cathode and grid to be maintained while the copper member permits thermal expansion to occur to maintain vacuum integrity.

    摘要: An electron gun using a plane type cold cathode electrode has a beam focusing electrode which is disposed in front of the plane type cold cathode electrode and has a hole having a diameter smaller than an electron emission region. The beam focusing electrode is in direct contact with a cathode chip constituting the plane type cold cathode electrode, thus realizing direct electrical connection between the cold cathode chip and the beam focusing electrode. The arrangement enables the converging of an electron beam from the cold cathode electrode to a desired shape and the accurate setting of the center of a beam orbit to a desired position.
