摘要: The array antenna system according to an embodiment includes an active radiation layer including a plurality of unit cells and a control circuit to control properties of each unit cell, a plurality of patch antennas placed on each unit cell, and a feed line to feed waves for excitation of the plurality of patch antennas through the active radiation layer, wherein each unit cell is controlled to have different radiation properties by the control circuit, and beam steering and impedance control of the array antenna system is enabled by control of the active radiation layer. According to the embodiment, power consumption is much lower than the existing beamforming circuit, and the using of the single feed line reduces the complexity of system design.

摘要: An electronic device and an antenna structure are provided. The electronic device includes a metal housing, and the antenna structure is disposed in the metal housing. The antenna structure includes a printed circuit board, two radiating elements, two feeding transmission lines and a connector. The two radiating elements are disposed on the printed circuit board and are close to the two slots. Projections of the two radiating elements projected onto the metal housing at least partially overlap with the two slots. The two feeding transmission line are disposed in the printed circuit board. The two feeding transmission lines are electrically connected to the two radiating elements, respectively, and lengths of the two feeding transmission lines are the same. The connector is connected to the printed circuit board and electrically connected to the two feeding transmission lines.

A system includes: a wireless gateway device located within a housing and having electrical connection elements for power and network connectivity; and an antenna coupled to the housing and electrically coupled to the wireless gateway device. The housing is adapted to be masked on a surface of a support structure exposed to a defined environment, and is configured to serve a first function and the support structure is configured to serve a second function. The first function is distinct from the second function. In various embodiments, the antenna can be a resonant slot antenna, a horn antenna, a dipole antenna, a patch antenna or a custom antenna element. The wireless gateway device can include circuitry that facilitates multiple-input and multiple-output communication of the antenna, and is configured to be powered via power over Ethernet in some embodiments. In various embodiments, the support structure can include, but is not limited to, a hand rail, a stage scaffold, a lamp post and/or a trash can.

The radar systems can be applied to a wide variety of unmanned vehicles, including unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned land vehicles. In accordance with the embodiments described herein, the antenna includes an antenna body defining at least one transmitting waveguide and at least one receiving waveguide coupled to the radar processing unit. The antenna body is formed from plastic and includes metalized surface. In one embodiment, the antenna body is formed from 3-dimensional (3D) plastic printing.

Applying the antenna structure to a radio embodiment, the first radiator element (104) is placed at a bottom side of a portable radio device, the first radiator element being fed through the single RF feed port and terminated on the input of the transmission line. The transmission line is routed along the ground plane reference mass towards the second radiator element placed on a top side of the portable radio.

摘要: A phase-controlled antenna array comprises at least four phase-controlled elements which are connected via a feed network. Each antenna element comprises a waveguide emitter with a signal output coupling or input coupling and a phase actuator which is rotatably attached in the waveguide emitter and contains a mounting and two polarizers, wherein each of the two polarizers can convert a circularly polarized signal into a linearly polarized signal. The antenna elements additionally comprise a connection element and a drive unit which is attached to a support and which is connected to the phase actuator via the connection element such that the drive unit can rotate the phrase actuator about an axis of the waveguide emitter. The antenna array additionally comprises a computing unit which is connected to the drive unit(s) of the phase-controlled antenna elements via control lines and which adjusts the rotation of each phase actuator.
