摘要: A phase shifter includes: a first substrate; a signal electrode, a first reference electrode, and a second reference electrode which are on the first substrate; a first insulating layer covering at least a side of the signal electrode distal to the first substrate; and at least one film-bridge electrode group on a side of the first insulating layer distal to the signal electrode. Each film-bridge electrode group includes film-bridge electrodes insulated from each other, and an orthogonal projection of the signal electrode on the first substrate is between orthogonal projections of the first and second reference electrodes on the first substrate. An orthogonal projection of a bridge floor of each film-bridge electrode on the first substrate partially overlaps the orthogonal projection of the signal electrode. Distances between bridge floors of the film-bridge electrodes in a same film-bridge electrode group and the signal electrode are different from each other.

摘要: A radar system includes a plurality of radiating elements configured to radiate electromagnetic energy and a plurality of feed waveguides defining a common plane and configured to guide electromagnetic energy to the plurality of radiating elements. The radar system also includes a plurality of waveguides arranged as a dividing network configured to split the electromagnetic energy from the source among the plurality of feed waveguides, such that each feed waveguide receives a respective portion of the electromagnetic energy. Additionally, the dividing network is configured to adjust a phase of the electromagnetic energy received by each waveguide. The splitting and adjusting of the dividing network may be based on differences in height and/or width between the waveguides of the dividing network and the feed waveguides. At least a portion of the dividing network is located in a plane other than the common plane of the feed waveguides.

摘要: A continuously manually or remotely adjustable microwave attenuator and linear phase shifter uses a mobile signal coupler (wave-probe) and a slabline structure terminated with 50 Ohms. The coupled port of the wave-probe is connected with the output port of the unit using flexible RF cable. The wave-probe is attached to the vertical axis of a mobile carriage, which is moved at variable distance from the input port, corresponding to the expected transmission phase, whereas the depth, at which the wave-probe is inserted into the slabline, determines the coupling factor and thus the value of the attenuation. Amplifier and low pass filters compensate for coupling loss and equalize for frequency slope.

摘要: Differing from conventional directional coupling device being implemented on a coin-like planar board, the present invention stacks a bottom substrate, at least one phase retarding unit, at least one reference ground unit, a coupled circuit layer, a main circuit layer, and a top substrate to form a miniature directional coupling device. Because this miniature directional coupling device not occupies too much circuit area when being applied in a mobile communication product, the miniature directional coupling device can meet the requirements of light weight and compact size demanded by high-technology mobile communications for the electronic components. It is worth explaining that, since the said phase retarding unit consists of many end-to-end connected transmission wires, engineers skilled in designing microwave circuit are able to carry out the modulation of coupling flatness of the miniature directional coupling device by changing a total length of the end-to-end connected transmission wires.
