摘要： A mobile terminal may either receive a script, or request to receive a script, which specifies a third party procedure to generate content on the mobile terminal. The script defines the procedure, manual or automatic, to be used for the content generation. If manual content generation is required, then the user of the mobile terminal is queried for the content to be generated through an input procedure as directed by the script. If automatic content generation is required, then the script executes without user interaction to generate the content. In either case, the generated content is then readily accessible from the mobile terminal via a location within the WEB site name space as directed by the script.

摘要： A method and system for providing computer-network related information about a second party. First, the second party receives a telephone number of a first party. The second party's customer premises equipment (CPE) or elements in a telephone network then use the telephone number to index a database, which contains combinations of telephone numbers and computer-network addresses. Once the first party's computer-network address is retrieved, first-party-customized information present at the computer-network location specified by the computer-network address can be sent to and displayed on the second party's CPE. Also the first party's telephone number can be sent to an application in the computer network, causing the first-party-customized information to be automatically displayed on the second party's CPE.

In some embodiments, a user device may send a request to access one or more images from a content management system. In some embodiments, the first version may correspond to a high-resolution image whereas the second version may correspond to a lower resolution image.

In one embodiment, when two users executing a mapping application on a mobile device each perform a similar search in a similar geographic area, the server that receives and performs the search request can make each user aware of the other's presence, for example by displaying an icon indicating the other user on the mapping application. The search results may be refined to indicate search results in a geographic area common to the geographic search areas of each user.

Generally, a computer system enforces appropriate mobile device settings (e.g., policy and/or configuration settings) prior to permitting a mobile device to access maintained data. The computer system receives a request from a mobile device. The computer system determines that current mobile device settings are not appropriate for accessing the maintained data. The computer system sends device settings, representing a new mobile device configuration that is appropriate accessing the maintained data, to the mobile device. The computer system receives an indication that the mobile device is configured in accordance with the device settings. The computer system permits the mobile device to access the maintained data in response to receiving the indication that the mobile device is configured in accordance with the device settings.
