摘要: A base station apparatus for communicating with a terminal apparatus transmits a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection reconfiguration request message including a Data Radio Bearer (DRB) configuration to the terminal apparatus. The DRB configuration includes a DRB identity and a Packet Data Convergence Protocol Layer (PDCP) entity configuration corresponding to the DRB identity. PDCP entity configuration information includes one of a PDCP entity configuration for Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access (E-UTRA) and a PDCP entity configuration for New Radio (NR). A PDCP entity is established in accordance with the PDCP entity configuration information.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for multiple input-multiple output (MIMO) channel access are provided herein. A method performed by a station (STA) may include receiving, from an initiating STA, a frame including information indicating a broadcast address and a control trailer. The control trailer may include information indicating that a multi-user multiple input-multiple output (MU-MIMO) frame is to be received from the initiating STA, and information indicative of a plurality of STAs, the plurality of STAs including the STA. The method may include transmitting a response frame to the indicated broadcast address based on the received frame and receiving the MU-MIMO frame from the initiating STA.

摘要: Uplink resources for semi-persistent channel state information (SP-CSI) reports and other uplink transport block transmissions may be managed. If resources allocated to the SP-CSI reports overlap, in time, with resources allocated to the uplink transport block transmissions, a determination of whether to drop an SP-CSI report may be made. Various selection criteria may be used to make this determination.

摘要: Embodiments of this application disclose a packet transmission method and a related apparatus. An access network device receives a first packet from an Internet-of-things (IoT) function network element; the access network device obtains first information, where the first information indicates that the first packet includes a passive or semi-active IoT instruction; and the access network device performs a passive or semi-active IoT operation based on the first packet. According to the foregoing method, the access network device learns that the packet from the IoT function network element is related to a passive or semi-active internet of things, and the access network device performs the passive or semi-active IoT operation based on the first packet. This resolves a packet transmission problem in a scenario in which a passive or semi-active IoT system is converged with a cellular network.

摘要: Embodiments are presented herein of apparatuses, systems, and methods for performing unicast sidelink access stratum level connection maintenance. A first wireless device and a second wireless device may establish a unicast sidelink wireless connection. One or both of the first wireless device and the second wireless device may perform access stratum level connection maintenance on the unicast sidelink wireless connection. This may include performing any or all of radio link monitoring, radio resource management, or physical layer based link quality detection. The access stratum and the non-access stratum of each device may also communicate with each other regarding either or both of link quality or link status of the unicast sidelink wireless connection.

摘要: A method for operating a user equipment (UE) comprises receiving configuration information for a CSI report. The configuration information includes information to: configure a codebook and parameters for the codebook, the codebook comprising a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) indicating a set of components S to represent N3 precoding matrices, where N3≥1; and partition the PMI into two subsets, a first PMI subset indicating a first subset of components S1 from the set of components S, and a second PMI subset indicating a second subset of components S2 from the set of components S different from the first subset of components S1. The method further comprises determining the CSI report based on the configuration information, the CSI report including the second PMI subset indicating the second subset of components S2, and transmitting the determined CSI report over an uplink (UL) channel.

摘要: Wireless communications systems and methods related to network power saving are provided. In one embodiment, a base station (BS) of a wireless communication network determines to enter a sleep mode. The BS transmits, to one or more user equipment (UEs) of the wireless communication network, a communication signal indicating that the BS will enter the sleep mode. The BS operates in the sleep mode for a sleep mode period. In one embodiment, a UE receives, from a BS, a communication signal indicating that the BS will enter a sleep mode for a sleep mode period. The UE refrains, during one or more sleep windows of the sleep mode period, from performing uplink communications.

摘要: A method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system includes receiving, from a base station via a radio resource control (RRC) signaling, information indicating a number N of code block groups per transport block (TB), wherein a code block group comprises at least one code block, receiving, from the base station, control information scheduling data, receiving, from the base station, the data on a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) based on the control information, the data including code block groups of a TB, generating hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback information for the code block groups of the TB, the code block groups of the TB being identified based on a number of code blocks (CBs) for the TB and the number N of code block groups per TB, and transmitting the HARQ feedback information to the base station, wherein a bit size of the transmitted HARQ feedback information is identical to the number N of the code block group per TB.
