    摘要: The invention provides for a high dynamic performance of a frequency-voltage converter with minimum delay from frequency into voltage. Especially to provide for highly accurate maintenance of speed i.e. a fast control performance of a motor, a pulse train is derived upon operation of the motor in the form of recurring needle trigger pulses. A command pulse train is derived having pulse gaps which are longer than the trigger pulses and spaced from each other so that, if the speed of the motor is at the correct level, the trigger pulses will fall within the pulse gaps. During the time interval .DELTA.T between the end of a preceding command pulse T.sub.s and the next subsequent trigger pulse T.sub.i, a capacitor 22 is charged, the charge state of which will provide a control signal to control the supply of energy to the motor which, through a transducer, provides the speed-dependent trigger pulses.

    摘要: An electric vehicle traction motor control circuit includes a main thyristor in series with the motor armature. A second thyristor is connected in series with a commutating capacitor across the main thyristor which can be switched off by firing the second thyristor so that the motor current is diverted into the commutating capacitor. A third thyristor is connected in series with an inductor across the commutating capacitor and serves when fired to reverse the voltage residing on the commutating capacitor following commutating. The reversed voltage on the capacitor is detected and is used to control upper and lower current limit signals set by a driver operable control so that the capacitor is not called upon to receive a large current when it is in a low voltage condition.

    摘要: An improved circuit arrangement for correcting the measured voltage of an analog speed transducer using a correction voltage derived from the speed proportional pulse train of a digital speed transducer in which the correction voltage is formed in an integrating control whose reference value is a speed proportional pulse train made up of pulses having a constant voltage-time area and whose actual value is the corrected measured voltage. The correction voltage is then added to the voltage output of the analog speed transducer in a summing amplifier to obtain the corrected measured voltage output.

    摘要: A digital phase control adjustment system is provided for a d.c. motor which finds particular utility in applications where fast start and stop operations of the motor are required. The pulses forming a reference signal and those forming a variable signal are stored sequentially in a shift register and when the shift register is alternately storing ones and zeros, the pulses of the two signals are in alternate sequence for a certain number of periods, indicating that the motor speed is near the intended value.

    摘要: Arrangement for synchronizing a measuring signal produced by a controllable generator with a reference signal. For motor speed control the generator is a system which is coupled to the motor shaft and provides a measuring signal the frequency of which is a measure of the motor speed. The arrangement includes a fourposition counter the count of which is increased one position by each reference pulse and is reduced one position by each measuring pulse. The arrangement further includes a sawtooth generator which provides a signal which is in synchronism with the reference signal and is applied to a logic circuit. This logic circuit is so controlled by the four-position counter as to provide an output signal which, after sampling at instants which correspond to the measuring pulses, produces a control signal which has an extreme value if the frequencies of the measuring and reference signals are different and has a value determined by the phase difference if the frequencies are equal. The great advantage of the arrangement is that the motor speed is adjustable over a wide range without stability problems arising.

    摘要: An electro-optical system for measuring and controlling the rotational speed of a centrifuge. The rotational speed is optically sensed and converted into an electrical signal for comparison with a signal indicative of the desired speed. The result of the comparison is optically coupled to control the occurrence and duration of a signal to a motor which rotates the centrifuge. The optical coupling electrically isolates the centrifuge from the measuring system. An optional digital readout may be utilized to indicate rotational speed.

    摘要: A frequency-to-voltage converter for use with such devices as magnetic tape handling equipment is provided having a frequency error signal generator providing pulses, a constant current generator, a capacitor and two switches controlled by the pulses. One of the switches discharges the capacitor within a fixed time interval and the other switch connects the capacitor to the current generator for a time interval determined by the pulses. The capacitor is thus charged to reach a voltage of the next pulse, thereby providing a voltage across the capacitor terminals which is a continuous voltage error signal suitable for control purposes.
