    摘要: Liquid precursor material of a coating substance and a solvent is provided in a reservoir (STEP1, STEP1′). In one variant the liquid precursor material is distilled (STEP2), the resultant liquid coating substance is vaporized (STEP3) and ejected through a vapor distribution nozzle arrangement (7) into a vacuum recipient (3) and onto substrate 5 to be coated. Alternatively, the liquid precursor material is directly vaporized (STEP3′). From the two-component vapor coating substance vapor is applied to substrate 5′ to be coated. In this variant separation of solvent vapor and coating substance vapor is performed especially downstream vaporizing (STEP2′).

    摘要: A machine and method are provided for washing a tote or other container having a bottom wall, and first and second opposed side walls that are connected by first and second opposed end walls to define an access opening. The machine and method involve utilizing an automated washing machine having a housing that includes a wash zone for spraying wash liquid onto the container, a downstream rinse zone for spraying rinsing liquid onto the tote and a downstream drying zone for directing air flow onto the container to promote drying of the container and a conveyor mechanism for moving the container through the housing. The container is placed in an inverted position on the conveyor mechanism with the bottom wall facing upward and the access opening facing downward, and the conveyor mechanism moves the container through the zones for cleaning.

In one embodiment, a nozzle assembly includes an outerbody and an innerbody disposed within the outerbody. The innerbody includes a first portion adapted to receive a fluid medium radially through a plurality of first baffle apertures into a first chamber, and a second portion adapted to provide a first passage for the fluid medium from the first chamber to a second chamber. The innerbody further includes a third portion adapted to receive the fluid medium radially through a plurality of second baffle apertures into a third chamber, and a fourth portion adapted to provide a second passage for the fluid medium from the third chamber to an exit aperture.

    摘要: The invention relates to a container for flowable cleaner products, particularly for liquid thixotropic WC bowl cleaners of which the thixotropic properties cause the liquid WC bowl cleaner to adhere to vertical surface. It is the object of the invention to provide a container having a spray head which causes the flowable cleaner product, and particularly the afore-said WC bowl cleaner, to be distributed in an optimum manner and which at the same time can be sealed and closed in a child-proof manner. To this end, the container is equipped with a spray head which consists of a cylinder-like basic body and of a mandrel-like body having a plurality of spray orifices, with the geometry and the relative arrangement of the cylinder-like and mandrel-like bodies being such as to enable the required optimum distribution to be obtained, with a special design of the closure cap providing for child-proof sealing and a releasable engagement thereof with the spray head.

    摘要: A spray nozzle assembly particularly adapted for directing a finely atomized slurry of hydrated lime for removing sulfur dioxide from flue gases. The nozzle assembly includes a nozzle body having a first pre-atomizing and mixing chamber into which pressurized liquid and air flow streams are directed for breaking down and pre-atomizing the liquid, an orifice plate at the downstream end of the first pre-atomization and mixing chamber for restricting the fluid flow into a second chamber defined by the orifice plate and spray tip, and a spray tip having a plurality of circumferentially spaced discharge orifices through which atomized liquid particles in the second chamber discharge. Each discharge orifice is inclined at a compound angle in order to cause the spray to discharge from the tip as a swirling annular curtain and thereby retard the build up of lime and fly ash on the tip.
