摘要: A fixture for drilling a hole in a superalloy turbine blade includes a mount to selectively hold a root of the superalloy turbine blade with the superalloy turbine blade extending from the mount. The fixture may also include an actuator to apply a force to elastically deform at least a portion of the superalloy turbine blade when held by the mount from a relaxed, initial position to an elastically deformed position, the at least a portion of the superalloy turbine blade having a curvature in the elastically deformed position not present in the relaxed, initial position. The fixture may also include a drill guide configured to guide a drilling element into the superalloy turbine blade in the elastically deformed position.

摘要: Systems and methods for etching complex patterns on an interior surface of a hollow object are disclosed. A method generally includes positioning a laser system within the hollow object with a focal point of the laser focused on the interior surface, and operating the laser system to form the complex pattern on the interior surface. Motion of the laser system and the hollow object is controlled by a motion control system configured to provide rotation and/or translation about a longitudinal axis of one or both of the hollow object and the laser system based on the complex pattern, and change a positional relationship between a reflector and a focusing lens of the laser system to accommodate a change in distance between the reflector and the interior surface of the hollow object.

摘要: The present invention relates to an electrochemical machining apparatus for gear outline, which is used for trimming the gear outline of the gear part of a workpiece and comprises a first moving mechanism, a second moving mechanism, a cathode electrode, and a gear alignment member. The cathode electrode is disposed at the first moving mechanism. The second moving mechanism is connected with the gear alignment member. The gear alignment member includes a plurality of alignment gears for aligning the location of a plurality of teeth of the gear part of the workpiece. Thereby, the plurality of teeth of the workpiece may correspond to the cathode electrode. Then, the cathode electrode may perform electrochemical machining on the plurality of teeth, and thus, trimming the outline of the plurality of teeth.

摘要: The present invention provides a continuous machining system, which comprises an electrochemical machining module, a separating module, and a vibration reducing module. The electrochemical machining module performs an electrochemical machining to a material strip for forming a plurality of components on the material strip. The separating module separates the plurality of components from the material strip. Thereby, the machining time is saved, and thus achieving the purposes of continuous machining and mass production. The vibration reducing module is located between the electrochemical machining module and the separating module. The vibration reducing module can ease the vibration of the material strip. Consequently, the influence of vibration on the electrochemical machining precision of the material strip machined by the electrochemical machining module may be minimized.

摘要: An electrochemical machining apparatus for forming turbine blades includes a main base, an upper seat and an electrode unit. The main base includes a working platform for allowing a turbine blade to be placed thereon. The working platform includes an upper step stage for resisting the turbine blade, and a lower step stage for keeping a predetermined working space from a portion of the turbine blade desired to be cut. The main base has a guiding channel for allowing an electrolyte to flow through the predetermined working space. The upper seat is configured to cover above the main base and to contact one side of the turbine blade to form an electrical connection. The electrode unit includes an anode electrode electrically connected to the upper seat and at least one cathode electrode disposed on the main base.

摘要: A fixture for an electro-chemical machining (ECM) electrode is provided. The fixture may include a clamp having a shape and size configured to selectively engage in at least a portion of a selected dovetail slot of a plurality of dovetail slots in a turbine wheel. An electrode mount positions an electrode head relative to the clamp such that the electrode head operatively engages a portion of the selected dovetail slot for electro-chemical machining of the portion. The fixture's electrode may act as a cathode for the ECM process. The fixture allows for ECM on site without removing a turbine wheel from a turbomachine.
