    Abstract: A system and method and for detecting meeting participant inattentiveness during an online meeting includes retrieving meeting content data from the ongoing online meeting, meeting metadata associated with the online meeting, and user data associated with participants of the online meeting, the online meeting being conducted via an online meeting application, the user data including camera data and data about user interactions with applications other than the online meeting application. Participant inattentiveness is detected, based on at least one of the camera data or the data about user interactions with the applications other than the online meeting application. Upon detecting participant inattentiveness, notification data is provided for display to the inattentive participant, receiving an indication of the participant's return to the online meeting, and providing data for displaying a summary of meeting events that occurred during the time period to the participant.

    Abstract: Devices, systems and processes for providing geo-located and content-to-comment synchronized user circles are described. For at least one embodiment, a system for facilitating a geo-location based user circle may include a hub configured to facilitate a sharing of comments between a first user and a second user via a user circle. The first user and the second user may be selected for participation in the user circle based upon a circleID associated each of a first user device and a second user device. A first user device, communicatively coupled to the hub, may be configured to facilitate a capture of the comments provided by the first user. A second user device, communicatively coupled to the hub, may be configured to facilitate a presentation of the comments to the second user. And, a second device geoID may be used to indicate a location of the second user device.

    Abstract: A server generates a continuous audio stream during periods of poor network connectivity or network congestion. The server obtains a first audio stream from a user device connected to a real-time communication session and detects one or more missing packets in the first audio stream. The server obtains recorded portions of audio that correspond to the missing packets and combines the recorded portions of the audio with the first audio stream to generate the continuous audio stream without missing packets. The server transmits the continuous audio stream to other user devices connected to the real-time communication session.

    Abstract: A method performed by a system of a communication network includes obtaining digital representations of speech detected from communication devices connected to a teleconference, and receiving a request for a parallel discussion from a first of the communication devices with a subgroup of the communication devices. Further, the system sets up a parallel discussion group for the first communication device and the subgroup of communication devices, provides the digital representations of speech of the first communication device and the subgroup of communication devices only to the devices of the parallel discussion group so that each device of the parallel discussion group is able to play back the digital representations of speech of the other devices of the parallel discussion group, and provides the digital representations of speech of the plurality of communication devices except the first communication device and the subgroup of communication devices.
