    Abstract: A brake system may include an actuating device, in particular a brake pedal; a first piston-cylinder unit having two pistons subjecting the brake circuits to a pressure medium via a valve device, wherein one of the pistons can be actuated by the actuation device; a second piston-cylinder unit having an electric motor drive, a transmission at least one piston to supply at least one of the brake circuits with a pressure medium via a valve device; and a motor pump unit with a valve device to supply the brake circuits with a pressure medium. The brake system may also include a hydraulic travel simulator with a pressure or working chamber which is connected to the first piston-cylinder unit.

    Abstract: A vehicle axle may include hydraulically operating wheel brakes and/or additional hydraulic loads, such as clutch plate cylinders.     Abstract: A helical gearing for driving an adjusting element, which may be an actuator or a piston of a piston-cylinder unit, is driven by an electric motor. The adjusting element may be moved along an axis. The drive apparatus has a rotor, or a translator rotatably mounted in a housing by a bearing and fixedly connected to the input of or formed integrally with the helical gearing. The output of the helical gearing is connected to or formed integrally with the adjusting element. An anti-twist means may prevent the adjusting element from twisting in the circumferential direction about the axis. The helical gearing and/or at least part of the adjusting element is/are formed to be transversely elastic to the axis of rotation, at least in one region.

    Abstract: A pressure generating device may comprise a piston-cylinder unit having a bilaterally acting piston with two effective surfaces defining two respective, separate working spaces in a sealing manner. Each working space is connected via a hydraulic line to a hydraulic circuit, wherein at least one hydraulic chamber of a consumer is connected to each hydraulic circuit, and wherein a drive drives the piston. The motor-pump unit is connected via two hydraulic connections, one or both of which may incorporate separating valves, to the first and second working chambers of the first piston-cylinder unit.

The electromechanically actuatable wheel brake has a hydraulic control device having a piston-cylinder unit, the control piston of which serves for adjusting the brake piston and/or exerting a force on the brake piston. The control piston can be adjusted or a force can be exerted on the control piston.
