Abstract:
A method and apparatus for an adaptive Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) streaming service using metadata of content are provided. The metadata of the content may be efficiently divided for a purpose of use of a terminal based on general media information or specific media information, and may be transmitted to the terminal. A group may include one or more representations of content. The metadata may include a group element, and the group element may provide a summary of attributes of one or more representations included in the group.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method for adsorption/desorption of lithium ions from brine, which employs a counter current decantation process in adsorption/desorption of lithium ions, thereby achieving an adsorption rate of 65±5% and a desorption rate of 95±3%. The method includes supplying brine into one of a plurality of adsorption reactors, adsorbing lithium ions to an adsorbent by supplying the adsorbent to the adsorption reactor to which the brine is supplied and forcing the brine and the adsorbent to sequentially flow backwards inside the respective adsorption reactors, and desorbing the lithium ions from the brine by forcing the adsorbent to which the lithium ions are adsorbed to sequentially flow backwards inside a plurality of desorption reactors. Here, the brine and the adsorbent are stirred by a stirrer to maintain the adsorbent in an intermediate state instead of settling or floating inside the respective adsorption reactors.
Abstract:
A processing method includes processing a wafer based on initial data, measuring errors for each of the plurality of areas, calculating an error similarity of at least some of the plurality of areas as a function of a separation distance between each pair of some of the areas, selecting a first area and a plurality of second areas adjacent to the first area, calculating weight values for the second areas based on the error similarities between each pair of second areas and the error similarities between the first area and each second area, calculating an estimated error of the first area based on the measured errors of the second areas and the weight values for the second areas, and generating estimated data based on the estimated errors for each of the plurality of areas.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a 3D video motion estimating apparatus and method. The 3D video motion estimating apparatus may enable a motion vector of a color image and a motion vector of a depth image refer to each other, thereby increasing a compression rate.
Abstract:
A three-dimensional (3D) compressing method and apparatus is disclosed. The 3D video compressing apparatus determines whether a motion of consecutive frames exists when a depth of a multi-view video is estimated, performs a depth estimation when the motion exists, and compresses the 3D video by using a color video motion vector as a depth video motion vector.
Abstract:
Disclosed are an extractor having a “pottery with dark brown glaze” called “Onggi” in Korean, and a method of extracting using the same. The extractor includes a body, a body cover, a heating part, a pottery and a gas valve. The pottery is located within the body. The extractor extracts by injecting nitrogen gas, etc. into the body through a gas valve, thereby rendering the inside of the body to be high pressure state during extraction. Thus, the inside of the body is maintained under high pressure during extraction. Accordingly, an extract is located only within the pottery, and thus changes that can be caused while an extract contacts with the body can be prevented.
Abstract:
A frequency up and down converter, in which, when down converting a high frequency signal into an intermediate frequency signal or up converting an intermediate frequency signal into a high frequency signal by controlling switching elements using a local oscillator signal, a signal with a frequency to be converted is controlled a number of times during one cycle of the local oscillator signal, whereby the local oscillator signal with a frequency lower than an original frequency may be used. Transistors are added in parallel to switching transistors disposed in a frequency down conversion unit or a frequency up conversion unit, and local oscillator signals with predetermined phases and pulse widths are provided to the gates of the transistors such that a high frequency signal or an intermediate frequency signal is transferred to an output terminal at least two times during one cycle of a local oscillator signal.

Abstract:
Provided are a use of a ginseng flower extract and a use of a ginseng seed extract. The ginseng seed extract includes ginseng seed oil or a ginseng seed residue extract. The uses include skin protection, anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, improvement of skin elasticity, skin whitening, skin moisturizing, prevention and improvement of skin dryness diseases such as atopy, removal of the horny layer, sebum control, anti-inflammation, prevention or improvement of skin troubles such as acne, improvement of skin complexion, prevention of hair loss, anti-dandruff, improvement of gloss and softness of hair, improvement of volume and elasticity of face or body, and improvement of facial or body line.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a whitening cosmetic composition containing plant-derived ginsenoside F1 (20-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-20(S)-protopanaxatriol) as an active ingredient. More specifically, the ginsenoside F1 is obtained from particularly a ginseng extract using an acid, a base, an enzyme or microorganism, and a whitening cosmetic composition containing the ginsenoside F1 has an excellent effect of inhibiting melanin biosynthesis, and thus provides an excellent skin whitening effect.
