摘要: An electric drive transmission for a skid steered vehicle has a central casing housing a pair of propulsion motors comprising respective stators and rotors, each rotor being coupled to drive a respective through shaft via a respective epicyclic gear change mechanism. The through shafts are coupled at their inboard ends to a controlled differential with an input from a steer motor, and are coupled at their outboard ends to respective epicyclic gear reduction mechanisms. The through shafts are supported in the casing by respective bearings and the propulsion motor rotors are supported on the through shafts by respective bearings. By supporting the rotors on the through shafts rather than in separate bearings to the casing the diameter and speed rating of the requisite rotor bearings can be reduced.

摘要: A plurality of images, including a first image and a second image having a higher resolution than the first image, are aligned by generating an oversampled cross correlation image that corresponds to relative displacements of the first and second images, and, based on the oversampled cross correlation image, determining an offset value that corresponds to a misalignment of the first and second images. The first and second images are aligned to a precision greater than the resolution of the first image, based on the determined offset value. Enhanced results are achieved by performing another iteration of generating an oversampled cross correlation image and determining an offset value for the first and second images. Generating the oversampled cross correlation image may involve generating a cross correlation image that corresponds to relative displacements of the first and second images, and oversampling the cross correlation image to generate the oversampled cross correlation image.

摘要: A device for automatically maintaining a desired water level in a water structure, such as a pond, pool or decorative water fountain. The device includes a reserve tank that is connected to the water structure by an open tube, or pipe, thus allowing the water level in the reserve tank to be the same as the water level in the water structure. When the water level in the structure drops, so does the water level in the device. When the water level in the device drops below a pre-defined level, a water supply switch is activated and more water is added to the reserve tank. As water is added to the reserve tank, water also flows through the open tube into the water structure, and the water levels in the reserve tank and in the water structure both rise at similar rates. When the water level in the reserve tank reaches a pre-defined full level, the water supply switch is de-activated and the flow of water to the reserve tank, and to the water structure, is shut off.

摘要: A method of fabricating a memory cell and corresponding memory cell structure are provided. According to the method, a pull-up transistor and a pull-down transistor are formed in a semiconductor structure of the memory cell. The pull-up transistor is coupled to the pull down transistor. The pull-up transistor is coupled to a contact within said semiconductor structure such that the pull-up transistor is coupled to a voltage input through parasitic resistance of the semiconductor structure. Additional embodiments are disclosed.

摘要: A digital voice and/or data communication cable hanger provides a saddle support on a shaft fastened to a ceiling or beams or side wall by an integral fastening loop at one end. The other end of the hanger is shaped into a support loop for the cable. A saddle having the support shaft running through it closes the support loop to prevent cable from slipping out. The cable hanger is made by a tool using a rotating spool designed to shape the rigid shaft into a fastening loop at one end and a support loop at the other end. A second support loop can be selectively attached to the shaft between its ends.

摘要: An optical add/drop multiplexer (OADM) adapted to route optical signals having at least two different bit rates. The OADM has at least two sets of DWDM channels with channels in a first set having a first bandwidth value, e.g., suitable for the transmission of signals having a bit rate of 10 Gb/s, and channels in a second set having a second bandwidth value, e.g., suitable for the transmission of signals having a bit rate of 40 Gb/s. In one embodiment, the frequencies of the channels from the first set are interleaved with the frequencies of the channels from the second set, and the OADM has first and second optical branches adapted to process optical signals corresponding to the first and second sets, respectively. Initially, the OADM may be configured to process 10-Gb/s signals using the first optical branch only while leaving the second optical branch unutilized. During an upgrade, which adds a 40-Gb/s service to the system, the OADM may be configured to process 40-Gb/s signals using the second optical branch. Advantageously, the upgrade can be performed without or with minimum interruptions to the 10-Gb/s service already in place.
