摘要: A disc, such as the floppy disc, the compact disc, or either of the compact discs of the hard discs may be divided or formatted into a number of usable tracks and sectors. The other areas between the usable tracks are unformatted and unusable. An actuating or driving program may be used to actuate the recording head to process and record the unformatted or unusable areas of the disc. The actuating program may be directly introduced into the memory of the hard disc or of the computer, or may be stored in an independent working station.

摘要: A resistor card for a potentiometer to measure the fuel in a fuel tank consists of a non-conductive substrate with a plurality of elongate conductive contacts deposited thereon. The contacts have an elevation above the surface of the substrate and the contacts are oriented in parallel relationship to each other to form a wiper track across which a wiper is moveable. To reduce the rate at which the upper surfaces of the contacts are worn away by movement of the wiper, an insulating or highly resistive filler material is deposited between the conductive materials which form the lands.

摘要: The present invention relates to an improved gas sampling device comprising a pair of hollow rectangular chambers having diffusion apertures, a heat insulating plate, a reflecting element, a light source and a light detector; wherein the pair of rectangular chambers are arranged one over the other, with the heat insulating element being placed therebetween, the reflecting element having two reflecting surfaces at right angle with respect to each other, one end of the rectangular chambers being secured to the reflecting element with each end thereof being aligned with a reflecting surface, the light source and the light detector being placed at the other end respectively of the rectangular chambers. In use, the rectangular chambers are placed horizontally with the light source being in the lower chamber such that when light is emitted from the light source, light rays pass through the lower chamber and are reflected by the reflecting surface to enter into the upper chamber and, finally, received by the light detector. The concentration of the gas can be measured by analyzing the variation in intensity resulted from the specific wavelength of the infrared light absorbed in the chambers by the gas to be measured. With the light source being packed in a metal, gas sampling rate is increased with the gas flowing into the upper chamber by the convection due to the higher temperature in the lower chamber than that in the upper chamber when light is emitted.

摘要: The invention is a wheeled folding tray cart and method. The wheeled folding tray cart comprises a collapsible wheeled framework pivotally supporting a set of split shelves, each split shelf comprises a pair of half shelves. The wheeled folding tray cart moves between an open operating position wherein the set of split shelves are held in spaced-apart, stacked, horizontal orientation within the collapsible wheeled framework and a closed storage position wherein the collapsible wheeled framework is collapsed in manner to move each half shelf pair into an accordion-like, inverted “V”-shaped or accordion like configuration. An extension coiled spring attached to the collapsible wheeled framework assists in the movement of the wheeled folding tray cart between open operating position and the closed storage position. A sheath encloses at least a portion of the spring to provide resistance to the spring's movement to limit potential operator exposure to pinch injuries.
