Abstract:
A bearing housing assembly featuring a bearing housing having a bearing housing wall portion with a bearing assembly chamber for receiving a bearing assembly and a shaft to be rotated, an oil sump for receiving and containing oil for lubricating the bearing assembly when the shaft is rotated, an oil path channel formed as an oil path for receiving dirty oil from the bearing assembly chamber for traveling down the oil path, and a filter assembly wall portion forming a filter assembly cavity coupled fluidically between the oil sump and the oil path channel; and a filter assembly arranged in the filter assembly cavity, to couple to the filter assembly wall portion, receive the dirty oil traveling down the oil path, filter the dirty oil and provide filtered oil to the oil sump, so the filtered oil can be recirculated to lubricate the bearing assembly when the shaft is rotated.
Abstract:
In one aspect, a modular filter assembly for filtering fluid that flows in a flow direction therethrough is disclosed. The assembly includes a first housing section having a first filter element; a second housing section having a second filter element; and a connector disposed between the first and second housing sections. A housing includes the first housing section, the connector, and the second housing section. The flow direction is through the first and second filter elements in series.
Abstract:
A fluid filter assembly for filtering a fluid includes a housing base portion having an axially extending tube, a housing cover that is connected to the housing base portion to define an interior space, a filter element, and an interface structure. The filter element is disposed within the interior space and in engagement with the axially extending tube, the filter element having a filter media, a bottom end cap, a top end cap, and a mounting member defined by the top end cap, the mounting member having an axial wall with a vent passage therethrough and a radial wall that encircles the axial wall. The interface structure is connected to the housing cover and engages the top end cap of the filter element.
Abstract:
A filter including a shell with at least one viewing region, a translucent bowl that fits and is installable within the shell, and an attachment mechanism. The bowl is positionable within the shell such that at least a portion of the bowl is visible through the viewing region. The attachment mechanism securely attaches the bowl the shell together and prevents at least one of vertical and rotational movement between the bowl and the shell. The shell and the bowl are not threaded to each other.
Abstract:
A waste collection manifold assembly 10 has a housing 13 and a strainer 80. The housing 13 has at least one input port 12A, 12B, 12C, 12D for receiving waste collection products 1 through a vacuum line 4. The housing 13 includes an interior chamber 11 for receiving the waste collection products 1 and a fluid discharge port 14 for passing fluids 6 into a waste collection unit 2. The strainer 80 is located in the chamber 11 and above the fluid discharge port 14. The at least one inlet port 12A, 12B, 12C, 12D is positioned to open alongside an interior chamber wall 13A of the housing 13 above the strainer 80 to direct the flow of the waste collection products 1 in a downward swirl along the interior chamber wall 13A toward the strainer 80.
Abstract:
In a case structure for a fluid pressure device, a filter that constitutes part of a fluid pressure unit is equipped with a first body, a case unit connected to a lower portion of the first body, and a filter unit accommodated in the interior of the case unit. The case unit is made up from an outer case, which is formed as a bottomed cylinder from a light-permeable transparent material, and an inner case inserted into the interior of the outer case. Additionally, by insertion of the case unit into an installation hole that opens on a lower portion of the first body and rotating the case unit, projections and retaining walls provided on an outer circumferential surface of the case unit engage with support members provided in the installation hole, thus placing the case unit in a connected state.
Abstract:
A filter cartridge structure with a filter cartridge includes a column-shaped main body having an open top, a cavity formed at the middle of the main body and interconnected to the open top, and a joint portion formed at the open top of the main body and combined with an insert. The insert is made of metal, ABS, or any material with physical properties similar to those of ABS to achieve the effects of enhancing the tenacity and impact resisting strength of the joint portion of the filter cartridge effectively, overcoming the problem of the joint portion of the conventional filter cartridge that may be cracked or broken easily, and improving the service life of the filter product.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a filter device, in particular for fluids contaminated with water admixtures, such as diesel oil, comprising a filter housing (1), which can hold at least one filter element (9), the fiber medium (11) of which separates an untreated side (13) from a treated side (19) during the filtration process in the filter housing (1), wherein a water collecting unit (5) is provided, which holds separated water on the treated side, wherein said filter device is characterized in that water that has been separated on the untreated side (13) also reaches the collecting unit (5) and in that mutually separated collecting chambers (61, 67) are present in the collecting unit (5) for the water that is discharged both at the treated side (19) and at the untreated side (13).
Abstract:
A fluid filter assembly having a relief valve for visually indicating when a filter element may be replaced. The fluid filter assembly of the present invention provides a vertical, transparent housing having a fluid inlet for communicating a fluid into the housing and a fluid outlet for communicating fluid downstream of the housing. A filter element is disposed within the housing between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet for filtering the fluid. The relief valve can also be in the form of a more restrictive filter media 42.
