A concrete pavement structure includes a base layer directly coated by a wearing layer, wherein the base layer is a concrete base layer and the wearing layer is an elastomer modified pervious concrete layer, having a thickness below to 4 cm, a void content ranging from 5% to 20% in volume, and a maximal diameter of aggregates present in the polymer modified pervious concrete layer is 10 mm.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for producing aggregates from concrete residues which are not used for construction purposes or, more generally, from cement mixtures which are unused for any reason and returned to the production facility in the truck mixer. The present invention also relates to the material obtained by said process and its use as an aggregate for concrete production or other applications.
Abstract:
A microcapsule, in particular of spherical shape, having a hollow capsule core encased by a capsule shell, characterized in that the capsule shell is at least partially made of hydrated cementitious material. A method for the production of a microcapsule includes the steps of: a) preparing of a suspension of particulate cementitious material in a solvent b) preparing a dispersion by mixing the suspension of step a) with an immiscible fluid so that (i) the suspension is present as a dispersed phase in the fluid as a dispersion medium or that (ii) the fluid is present as the dispersed phase in the suspension as the dispersion medium, such that the particulate material of the suspension adsorbs at least partially at a phase boundary between the fluid and the suspension, and c) allowing the particulate material adsorbed at the phase boundary to hydrate with the formation of an individual microcapsule.
Abstract:
In a device for taking samples from a material flow of fine-grained and dry material, in particular in the cement industry, comprising an upwardly open sample chamber (2) capable of being introduced into, and retracted from, the material flow through an introduction socket, the sample chamber (2) is formed in a rod-shaped body (1) translationally guided between a sampling position and a retracted position, and the sample chamber (2) has an openable bottom (7).
Abstract:
In a device for transmitting a torque to a rotary kiln (13), including a drive shaft driven by a motor and having a drive pinion driving a gear rim connected to the rotary kiln, the drive pinion (5) drives the gear rim (12) via an interposed transmission (6), wherein a gear wheel (7) of the transmission (6) engages with the drive pinion (5) in a manner displaceable in the axial direction.
Abstract:
A method for detecting straightness deviations and/deformations in a rotary kiln (1), the rotary drum (4) of which includes bearing rings (6) spaced apart from one another in the axial direction and respectively supported on rollers (7), involves scanning the outer surface area (5) of the rotary drum (4), the bearing rings (6), the rollers (7) and/or the shafts (17) of the rollers (7) in a contactless fashion with the aid of at least one scanning device (12) such that three-dimensional position data regarding the scanned objects is obtained, and evaluating the three-dimensional position data with respect to the occurrence of a deviation of the rotary kiln axis (3) from a straight line, a deviation of the rotary drum (4) from a cylindrical shape and/or a deviation of the rotational axes (8) of the rollers from a line extending parallel to the rotary kiln axis (3). A device for detecting straightness deviations and/or deformations in a rotary kiln (1) is also provided.
