    摘要: A gas sensor includes a sensor element and a housing having an accommodation hole in which the sensor element is disposed. The housing has at an axial end thereof a cold crimped portion which cooperates with a shoulder portion of the accommodation hole to fixedly hold therebetween the sensor element. The cold crimped portion has an inward flange section, a hollow cylindrical section and a bent section between the inward flange section and the cylindrical section. The cold crimped portion is shaped so as to vary in thickness suddenly at or adjacent the bent section so that the cold crimped portion is assuredly bent at a predetermined position. A method of producing a gas sensor is also provided.

    摘要: An examining structure for a circuit protective element comprises a plurality of conductive plates 3 of a conductive circuit 2 which is formed in a pattern on a circuit board 1, a pair of lead terminals 8 provided in the circuit protective element and respectively connected to the conductive plates 3, a test probe 4 for supplying a large current to the lead terminals 8 in order to examine a normal operation of the circuit protective element, and a test pad 6 soldered to the conductive plate 3 which is connected to the lead terminal, the test pad being adapted to be in contact with the test probe, thereby to constitute a probe contact part 5 having a thickness larger than the conductive plate. The test pad is smaller in size than the surface of the conductive plate and positioned near the lead terminal. The test pad is composed of a plurality of contact members having the same shape so as to keep a contact area with the test probe uniformly. The contact members are arranged uniformly. The contact members are solders arranged on one face of the conductive plate and directly attached to and projecting from the conductive plate. The solders may be formed at an opening of a through hole formed in the conductive plate by filling it in the opening.

    摘要: The connection structure of a circuit protection element for securely connecting at least two lead terminals of the circuit protection element to a circuit board includes terminal connection elongated holes each provided in the circuit board for connecting the lead terminals to the circuit board by soldering.     摘要: A cable holding structure of this invention comprises a groove in which a bending portion of a flexible flat cable is to be inserted, a first opening portion through which the flexible cable extending in the X direction as one direction from the bending portion passes and a second opening portion through which the flexible cable extending in the Y direction as the other direction from the bending portion passes, the first and second opening portions being contained in the groove, and a stopper provided on the first opening portion, which contacts a side edge of the flexible cable extending in the Y direction as the other direction of the bending portion so as to prevent the bending portion from slipping out in the X direction as one direction. Consequently, this prevents a residual stress from being generated in the flexible flat cable thereby improving the service life of the flexible flat cable.

A flexible flat cable is accommodated in an annular space defined between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder. The inner cylinder is provided with a shroud part for retaining the end portion of the flexible flat cable therein while the cover is provided with a press part. The press part is arranged so that, when the cover is attached to the inner cylinder, the press part is brought into contact with the shroud part from the outside. Therefore, the press part urges the inner end portion of the cable against the inner cylinder, whereby the inner end portion of the cable can be fixed on the inner cylinder securely.

    摘要: An electrical connecting device includes a stator consisting of a cylindrical housing, a rotor, a flexible flat cable and a carrier. Being accommodated in an annular space defined between the rotor and the stator, the flat cable has an end fixed to the stator and another end fixed to the rotor. The carrier has a gap in the circumferential direction, providing C-shaped member. The flat cable is wound along the outer periphery of the rotor in one winding direction, while the flat cable is also wound along the inner periphery of the stator in the opposite winding direction, through a turning part of the flat cable. The carrier is provided with a pusher part for pushing the flat cable. The pusher part is formed to project from an inner edge of one circumferential end of the carrier toward another circumferential end around which the turning part of the flat cable is looped. When the flexible flat cable is drawn out of the gap of the carrier, the pusher part serves to depress the swollen part of the flexible flat cable. Consequently, the flexible flat cable can be moved smoothly without buckling.
