Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention relates to a method by which a terminal performs device-to-device (D2D) communication in a wireless communication system, the method comprising the steps of: converting into a radio resource control (RRC) connection state through the transmission of a service request; being allocated a resource for the D2D communication; transmitting a D2D signal through the allocated resource; and receiving a system information block (SIB) after transmitting the D2D signal, wherein if the SIB includes information on a resource pool, the terminal does not perform an RRC recovery-related operation even if RRC connection failure occurs.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing a device-to-device (D2D) specific access control in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives D2D specific barring parameters from a network, and checks whether access to a cell is allowed according to the received D2D specific barring parameters. The D2D specific barring parameters may include a D2D specific barring factor and a D2D specific barring time.
Abstract:
A method for device-to-device (D2D) operation performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system, and a terminal using the method are provided. The method comprises: receiving system information including reception resource pool information; and receiving a D2D signal by using resources indicated by the reception resource pool information, wherein the reception resource pool information indicates resources for which receiving the D2D signal is allowed during a radio resource control (RRC) idle state and an RRC connected state.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for calculating an amount of data available for transmission in the wireless communication system, the method comprising: receiving ratio for calculating amount of Data Available for Transmission (DAT) in a PDCP (Packet Data Convergence Protocol) entity; calculating an amount of DAT when data is arrived in the PDCP entity; and setting a first amount of DAT as the calculated amount of DAT and a second amount of DAT as ‘zero’, if the calculated amount of DAT is less than a threshold, wherein the first amount of DAT is for the first BS and the second amount of DAT is for the second BS.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing a random access procedure in a wireless communication system is provided. In one embodiment, a user equipment (UE) determines a required amount of repetitions for uplink transmissions during a random access procedure, and performs repetitions for uplink transmissions based on the determined required amount of repetitions for uplink transmissions. The uplink transmissions may include transmission of preambles which are grouped. In another embodiment, a UE configures a communication windows for lost-cost machine-type communication (MTC) UE, and performs a random access procedure through the configured communication window.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method of selectively transmitting MBMS level information and an apparatus thereof. A method of transmitting MBMS service level information in a wireless communication system for supporting a Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service (MBMS), includes: determining, by User Equipment (UE), whether a received or reception interested MBMS is an MBSB necessary to be reported to a network; and transmitting, by the UE, service level information on the received or reception interested MBMS to the network through a MBMS interest indication message when the MBMS which is received or having interest in reception is the MBMS necessary to be reported to the network.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting device-to-device (D2D) related information in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) transmits a D2D-related identifier (ID) to a network during a radio resource control (RRC) connection establishment procedure, and transmits D2D-related group information to the network.
Abstract:
Provided are a method for transmitting/receiving discovery signals in a wireless communication system and user equipment for supporting same. The method comprises the steps of: receiving a discovery request signal from user equipment; and determining whether or not to transmit a discovery response signal in response to the discovery request signal on the basis of the determination of the validity of proximity of the user equipment.
Abstract:
Provided are a method for device to device (D2D) communication performed by terminals in a wireless communication system, and devices therefor. The method is characterized by: determining whether or not a first signal for D2D communication with another terminal and a second signal for communication with a base station collide at the same transmission time; and transmitting only the second signal at the transmission time if the first signal and the second signal collide.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for using resources for a device-to-device (D2D) operation in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives D2D resources used for transmission of D2D signals in radio resource control (RRC) idle mode, and transmits the D2D signals by using the D2D resources in the RRC idle mode. The D2D resources may be used in the RRC idle mode only, or may be used after entering the RRC connected mode. Alternatively, the UE receives D2D resources used for transmission of D2D signals in RRC connected mode, and transmits the D2D signals by using the D2D resources in the RRC idle mode.
