    摘要: An exhaust gas muffler for an internal combustion engine, especially in a manually guided implement such as a power chain saw and the like, is provided. The muffler has a housing having an inlet opening and an outlet for engine exhaust gas. An essentially cylindrical spark killer screen is fixed in position at a wall opening of the muffler housing that forms the outlet. The spark killer screen projects into the interior of the muffler housing. Adjoining the spark killer screen on the outer side of the muffler housing as an extension of the cylindrical spark killer screen is an exhaust gas pipe. This pipe is provided with threads and serves as a fastening device with which the spark killer screen and the exhaust gas pipe, as a fire protector, are fixed in position in the wall opening of the muffler housing.

Latching elements latch the basic body and the contact-ensuring slide. The guide elements and the latching elements of the electrical connector are spatially separated from one another. The contact-ensuring slide is placed onto the basic body along a direction which is transverse to a plug-in direction of the electrical connector, and it includes an end plate which covers the end face of the basic body when said contact-ensuring slide is disposed on the basic body, except for contact openings through which the contact elements inside the connector are accessible.

    摘要: A fluidic oscillator includes a chamber having a common inflow and outflow opening into which a jet is issued in a generally radial direction. After impinging upon the far chamber wall the jet is redirected to form a vortex on each side of the incoming jet. The vortices alternate in strength and position to direct outflow through the common opening along one side and then the other of the inflowing jet. A spray-forming output chamber is arranged to receive the pulsating outflows from the aforementioned or other fluid oscillator and establish an output vortex which is thereby alternately spun in opposite directions. An outlet opening from the output chamber issues fluid in a sweeping spray pattern determined by the vectorial sum of a first vector, tangential to the output vortex and a function of the spin velocity, and a second vector, directed radially from the vortex and determined by the static pressure in the chamber. By increasing or decreasing the static pressure, or by increasing or decreasing the vortex spin velocity, the angle subtended by the sweeping spray can be controlled over an unusually large range. By properly configuring the oscillator and/or output chamber, concentrations and distribution of fluid in the spray pattern can be readily controlled.

    摘要: The fluidic oscillator consists of a resonant fluid circuit having a fluid inertance and a dynamic fluid compliance. The inertance is a conduit interconnecting two locations of a chamber on each side of a working fluid jet issuing into one end of the chamber, the inertance conduit serving to transfer working fluid between the two locations. Through one or more output orifices located approximately at the opposite end of the chamber, the fluid exits from a chamber exit region which is shaped to facilitate formation of a vortex (the dynamic compliance) from the entering fluid. The flow pattern in the chamber and particularly the vortex in the chamber exit region provide flow aspiration on one side and surplus of flow on the opposite side of the chamber, which effects accelerate and respectively decelerate the fluid in the inertance conduit such as to cause reversal of the vortex after a time delay given by the inertance. The vortex in the chamber exit region will thus cyclically alternate in velocity and direction of rotation to direct outflow through the output orifice such as to produce a cyclically repetitive side-to-side sweeping stream our spray pattern whose direction is determined, at any instant in time, as a function of the vectorial sum, at the output orifice, of the tangential vortex flow spin velocity vector and the static pressure vector as well as the dynamic pressure component, both directed radially from the vortex. By changing these parameters by suitable design measures and operating conditions and by appropriately configuring the oscillator, sweep angle, oscillation frequency, distribution, outflow velocity, break up into droplets, etc. can be readily controlled over large ranges.

    摘要: A snap-action one-piece clamping device, made of spring steel, plastic, or the like, includes an endless member and a tongue. The endless member is a frusto-conical or frusto-spherical band having inner and outer rims of generally oval or rectangular configuration. The tongue projects transversely from either the inner or outer rim, depending upon the embodiment. The endless member has two stable positions on opposite sides of a reference plane defined by its outer rim and can be snapped to either position from the other by finger pressure applied toward the reference plane proximate the longitudinal mid-point in the endless member. The tongue is positionally slaved to the endless member and likewise has two stable positions. In one embodiment the tongue projects from the inner rim and clamps sheet material or a tube against the inner rim. In another embodiment the tongue projects from the outer rim and extends along a pen or the like to clamp a pocket against the pen.

    摘要: A hand-operated liquid spray apparatus operates on the air-lift pump principle wherein the air-forcing member and the spray-forming member are one and the same. Such an apparatus requires no nozzles or valves and no permanent pressurization of the sprayed liquid. A plurality of deflectable vanes are movably disposed in an open-ended chamber which communicates with the interior of a liquid container via separate air and liquid passages. The vanes, when at rest, seal both passages from the open chamber end. Operator-initiated motion of the vanes toward the air passage forces air trapped in the chamber through the air passage and into the container, thereby forcing liquid up through the liquid passage to wet the vanes in the chamber. A lip at the open end of the chamber is arranged to deflect the wetted vanes as they move past the lip. After passing the lip the deflected vanes spring back to their undeflected positions and, in so doing, throw off a spray pattern of liquid droplets.
