    Abstract: A method of wireless communication, the method including: identifying a resource block assignment for a non-data uplink resource within a set of resource blocks; determining a first range of resource blocks below the resource block assignment for the non-data uplink resource and identifying a second range of resource blocks above the resource block assignment for the non-data uplink resource; calculating a first bandwidth associated with the first range of resource blocks and calculating a second bandwidth associated with the second range of resource blocks; and configuring a first wireless communication device to work within a discrete bandwidth level sufficient to encompass a larger one of the first bandwidth and the second bandwidth, wherein the discrete bandwidth level is less than a full uplink bandwidth assigned by a network serving the first wireless communication device.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE), such as a vehicular UE, may perform proactive beam management in a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications system. In some cases, road conditions may affect V2X connectivity for the V-UE. For example, if the V-UE is using a narrow beam and approaches a road with a steep gradient, the narrow beam may be unable to detect other V-UEs, which could lead to connection loss. Instead, the V-UE may proactively perform beam management or beam refinement to adjust the beam and maintain connectivity. For example, the V-UE may select a wider beam which has greater coverage, or the V-UE may update a direction of the narrow beam to maintain connection with neighboring V-UEs. The V-UE may use onboard sensor and computer vision-based techniques to detect changes to road conditions or its trajectory.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may determine a collision between one or more sounding reference signal (SRS) resources to be used for an SRS antenna switching procedure for a first radio access technology (RAT) and a signal of a second RAT based at least in part on a time domain overlap of transmissions of the one or more SRS resources and an active time of the signal of the second RAT, and modify a configuration of the SRS antenna switching procedure to mitigate the collision, wherein the modified configuration indicates that the one or more SRS resources are configured to be transmitted using antenna elements of the UE that are different than antenna elements of the UE to be used for receiving the signal of the second RAT.     Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a vehicle user equipment (V-UE) determines an availability of cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) service for a first network access subscription associated with a first subscriber identity module (SIM), a second network access subscription associated with a second SIM, or both, the first SIM and the second SIM associated with a first SIM slot and a second SIM slot, respectively, of an in-vehicle system (IVS) modem of the V-UE, and updates a configuration of the IVS modem, switching the C-V2X service from the first network access subscription to the second network access subscription or from the second network access subscription to the first network access subscription, or both, based on the availability of the C-V2X service.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure are directed to the use of supplemental information received from Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) capable entities in order to enhance navigation and route selection based on available advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) functionality. A number of potential routes are evaluated by retrieving the V2X capabilities and locations from V2X capable entities along those routes. That information is used to assess traffic density and availability of supplemental information used by ADAS along each route, allowing for an evaluation of each route on travel time and ADAS support. The driver can then select the best route that supports their needs.

    Abstract: Techniques are provided to initiate signal transmissions for possible opportunistic reception by a mobile device, and/or to initiate opportunistic reception of signal transmissions for use in mobile device position location estimation. For example, a mobile device may use assistance data to identify a first signal to be transmitted over a first frequency band and a second signal to be transmitted over a second frequency band during a specific period of time. At least a portion of the second frequency band may be outside of the first frequency band. The mobile device subsequently attempts to opportunistically receive at least the first signal and the second signal via a receiver tuned to a reception frequency band that encompasses at least the first frequency band and the second frequency band. The mobile device may then process the opportunistically received signals to obtain measurements corresponding to at least the first and second signals.
