    Abstract: An electronic device has a structure in which two portions between which a bent portion of a display panel is positioned are each fixed to a housing. The electronic device takes two forms of a form in which the display panel is opened and a form in which the display panel is folded in three. The electronic device includes a mechanism for sliding two housings parallel to each other. The display panel is changed in shape so that a portion where a display surface of the display panel is convexly curved and a portion where the display surface of the display panel is concavely curved in the folded state move in directions parallel and opposite to each other. At this time, the two portions of the display panel which are supported by the housings are slid while their display surfaces maintain a state parallel to each other.

    Abstract: A display device whose power consumption can be reduced is provided. Alternatively, the aperture ratio of a display device is increased. The display device includes a pixel having a first subpixel and a second subpixel. The first subpixel includes a first coloring layer and a first transistor, and the second subpixel includes a second coloring layer and a second transistor. At least regions where channels might be formed in semiconductor layers of the first and second transistors are positioned to overlap with the first coloring layer. The first coloring layer is likely to absorb light with a shorter wavelength than light absorbed by the second coloring layer. The semiconductor layers, electrodes, wirings, and the like included in the transistors transmit visible light.

    Abstract: The thickness of a display device including a touch sensor is reduced. Alternatively, the thickness of a display device having high display quality is reduced. Alternatively, a method for manufacturing a display device with high mass productivity is provided. Alternatively, a display device having high reliability is provided. Stacked substrates in each of which a sufficiently thin substrate and a relatively thick support substrate are stacked are used as substrates. One surface of the thin substrate of one of the stacked substrates is provided with a layer including a touch sensor, and one surface of the thin substrate of the other stacked substrate is provided with a layer including a display element. After the two stacked substrates are attached to each other so that the touch sensor and the display element face each other, the support substrate and the thin substrate of each stacked substrate are separated from each other.

    Abstract: An input device or an input/output device with higher sensing accuracy is provided. An input device or an input/output device with higher detection sensitivity is provided. A plurality of conductive layers arranged in a matrix has an outline including a linear portion parallel to a direction along an outline of a display region of a display portion and linear portions of adjacent two conductive layers face each other. Furthermore, in the plurality of conductive layers arranged in a matrix, a plurality of conductive layers arranged in a line in an oblique direction to the outline of the display portion are electrically connected to each other. Alternatively, a plurality of conductive layers arranged in a zigzag line along the outline of the display portion are electrically connected to each other.
