    摘要： A navigation device includes a position detector, a controller, a display portion, an imaging portion and an image processor. The imaging portion images a forward view in front of the vehicle as a forward image from a predetermined distance before a guidance point. The image processor extracts and analyzes visual information of an on-road object from the forward image. The controller specifies a position of the on-road object based on the visual information and map information. The display portion displays and highlights an image of the on-road object at a true position in a road map image, when the position of the on-road object corresponds to the guidance point.

    摘要： An infrared detector having pixels which convert the infrared ray into an electric signal and are arranged to form a matrix. An infrared detecting unit is placed in a vessel having a shielding member for preventing the incident infrared radiated from the target object from being inputted to reference pixels. Only the infrared ray radiated from the shielding member is inputted to the reference pixels. The amount of infrared ray received by the reference pixels is supposed to equal the amount of infrared ray radiated from the inner wall of the vessel. The pixels other than the reference pixels receive the infrared ray both from the target object and the inner wall of the vessel. The circuit for reading out the electric signal generated by the pixels reads out the electric signal from the pixels using the electric signal from the reference pixels as a reference point.

    摘要： In order to switch to a light source with a light amount corresponding to the type of original from among a plurality of light sources in a simplified structure without using a specific switching mechanism in reading a transmissive original with a photoelectric sensor while moving, there are provided a platen on which an original is mounted, a line sensor that performs photoelectric conversion on light from the original on the platen, a first carriage that moves along the platen and guides the light from the original to the line sensor, a first housing that stores and supports the first carriage to be movable along the platen, first driving means for moving the first carriage, a second carriage provided with a plurality of rod-shaped light-source lamps that applies light to the original, a second housing that stores and supports the second carriage to be movable along the platen and covers the platen, second driving means for moving the second carriage, and control means for controlling the first driving means, the second driving means and lighting of the plurality of light-source lamps, where the plurality of light-source lamps is spaced in parallel with one another in the moving direction of the second carriage, and due to a signal from means for selecting a single light-source lamp from the plurality of light-source lamps corresponding to the type of the original, the control means controls to move the first carriage from a standby position to a predetermined position, further move the second carriage from a standby position by an amount of movement set corresponding to the selected light-source lamp to position in the predetermined position, and then, move the first carriage and the second carriage at the same speed from the predetermined position to a reading start position of the original.

    摘要： A sheet transfer apparatus transfers a sheet to a predetermined position. The apparatus includes a discharge tray; a support device for rotationally supporting the discharge tray; an interconnecting device that activates according to a rotation of the discharge tray; and a sheet regulating device engaging the interconnecting means to be movable between a regulating position for regulating a movement of the sheet and a retracted position for allowing the sheets on the discharge tray to move. A control device prevents the sheet regulating device from moving to the regulating position from the retracted position even though the discharge tray is rotated when a load greater than a predetermined value is applied to the sheet regulating device.

    摘要： A polyurethane elastomer fiber non-woven fabric contains polyurethane elastomer fiber filaments melt-bonded with one another, and has a tensile elongation of 100% or more, a 50% elongation recovery of 75% or more and a tear strength per METSUKE of 5.5 gf or more. The non-woven fabric can be prepared by a method of providing a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer having Shore hardness A of 92 or more, drying the elastomer to a water content of 150 ppm or less, and melt-spinning and, at the same time, spraying it together with a high speed gas stream so as to deposit and laminate the elastomer into a sheet form. A synthetic leather using the non-woven fabric is also provided. The non-woven fabric has not only an excellent elasticity but also high tear strength.
