A bandwidth allocation method for an uplink data transmission between a mobile subscriber station and a base station in a broadband wireless access communication system. The method includes inserting type information of a service requested by the mobile subscriber station into the access channel signal and transmitting the access channel signal to the base station, receiving uplink scheduling information according to the type of the service requested by the mobile subscriber station from the base station, and transmitting data using a transmission bandwidth allocated according to the uplink scheduling information.

A method for optimizing a tunnel between a second mobile router and a home agent of the second mobile router in a mobile network having a nested structure in which a first mobile router manages a subnetwork including at least the second mobile router. The second mobile router manages a subnetwork including at least one node. The second mobile router receives nested path information from the first mobile router. The second mobile router transmits the nested path information to the home agent of the second mobile router via the first mobile router. The home agent of the second mobile router stores the nested path information received from the second mobile router thereby performing tunneling with the second mobile router.

The purpose lies in supplying a transforming and rendering method in the shape where the important form of the shape, such as the thickness of the stroke, will be maintained from the basic shape, and at the same time the whole size of the shape can be fitted into a given bounding box. The present invention supplies the transformation method of a handwriting font including searching for the medial axis of a given element, obtaining contact points by using maximal inscribed circles with the medial axis and points of the medial axis as a center, and applying the information about the medial axis points and the contact points in case of a transformation of the element in the transformation method of handwriting where a given element can be optionally transformed in sizes in order to achieve the purpose. The present invention enables the transformation of the shape. In resizing the given element from the box surrounding element to the box where the new element is placed, the important form of the shape, such as the thickness of the stroke, is maintained, and at the same time the size of the whole is transformed in accordance with the optionally given box.

The present invention relates to novel strains of Pseudomonas putida, more specifically, to a novel strain of Pseudomonas putida which are tolerant to organic solvents including hydrocarbons, alcohols, ethers, ketones and their derivatives or mixtures thereof, and a mutant strain of said microorganism having the availability of genetic manipulation. The said Pseudomonas putida strains can be used in biotransformation in the presence of organic solvents and bioremediation of toxic organic compounds. Furthermore, they are useful as supply sources of resistance genes and cell fusion of organic solvent-tolerant microorganisms producing useful substances and the breeding of said microorganisms can be practiced in the art, which allows their universal use in the fields of bioreactor, liquid-waste treatment, protein engineering, etc.

A polygonal mirror assembly is provided with a vibration absorption. The polygonal mirror assembly includes a motor and a polygonal mirror rotatably installed around the rotation shaft of the motor. The polygonal mirror is provided with a plurality of reflective facets. The vibration absorption device is provided for absorbing rotational vibration due to the eccentric mass of the polygonal mirror, by elastically moving in the radial direction of the polygonal mirror. Therefore, the linearity of a scan line scanned from the laser scanning unit to the photoreceptor medium can be maintained.

An automatic disk discriminating method and an apparatus therefor are disclosed for use in an optical disk system. A triangular wave signal generator generates a triangular wave signal for searching for a focus point by moving a objective lens in relation to the optical disk. A window signal generator generates a window signal by comparing the triangular wave signal with a predetermined level. A disk discriminator discriminates the disk type of the optical disk by comparing the signal obtained when light from the objective lens is focused on a recording surface on the optical disk, with the window signal. Accordingly, the disk type of the optical disk is automatically discriminated during focus controlling using the distance between the disk recording surface and the objective lens of the optical pick-up.

The present invention generally relates to a technology of effectively performing video analysis of a compressed video (e.g., H.264 AVC, H.265 HEVC) in a video analysis system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a video analysis technology of a compressed video (e.g., CCTV video) in which branching in the video analysis process is performed with referring to motion vectors which have been obtained by parsing the compressed video, so that computing resource for the video analysis of the compressed video may be lowered. The present invention may provide an advantage of lowering the computer resource which is required for analyzing a compressed video (e.g., CCTV video).

The present invention relates to an iris recognition device and method capable of improving iris recognition accuracy. To enhance iris recognition accuracy in consideration of variation in pupil size and iris region due to changes in intensity of lighting, the iris recognition device and method are configured to obtain multiple iris images having different iris sizes by capturing iris images of a person to be enrolled with a camera while adjusting brightness of lighting so that the iris size of the person to be enrolled varies from a maximum size to a minimum size, store the obtained iris images and associated iris size information for enrollment in a database interworking with the iris recognition device, and select enrolled iris images having an iris size most similar to that of an iris image captured by the camera for identification among many enrolled iris images for similarity measurement.
