Abstract: A device of a New Radio (NR) User Equipment (UE), a method and a machine readable medium to implement the method. The device includes a Radio Frequency (RF) interface, and processing circuitry coupled to the RF interface, the processing circuitry to: determine that the UE is configured with a feature of multiple Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) resources with HARQ-ACK feedback within a slot; determine a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) resource to carry Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request Acknowledgment (HARQ-ACK) feedback in response to a scheduled Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) resource; and encode for transmission to a NR evolved NodeB (gNodeB) the PUCCH resource, the PUCCH resource to carry the HARQ-ACK feedback and: another PUCCH resource carrying Uplink Control Information (UCI) other than HARQ-ACK feedback, and a scheduled Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) resource.

Abstract: Various embodiments herein provide techniques for cancelation of one or more uplink (UL) transmissions from a user equipment (UE). The UE may receive an indication of a parameter d to use for determining a start of a reference UL resource (RUR). The parameter d may be UE-specific. The UE may further receive a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) that includes a downlink control information (DCI) to indicate that a UL transmission is to be canceled in a RUR. The UE may determine a starting symbol of the RUR based on the parameter d. In embodiments, the UE may scale the parameter d based on a first subcarrier spacing (SCS) associated with the parameter d and a second SCS associated with the uplink transmission to obtain a scaled parameter d′ that is used to determine the starting symbol of the RUR. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.

Abstract: Systems for providing coverage enhancement for Msg 3 PUSCH and PUCCH carrying the HARQ-ACK for Msg4 of PRACH initial access are described. The gNB provides a 2-bit aggregation factor for transmission of the Msg3 PUSCH in an RAR UL grant field. The PUSCH frequency resource allocation field is limited to 12 bits so that the RAR has an overall number of bits that is the same as an RAR that does not contain the aggregation factor. A default PUSCH TDRA table includes a field to indicate a repetition level for Msg3 PUSCH transmission. For retransmissions, fields in DCI format 0_0 are repurposed to indicate an aggregation factor. Inter-slot frequency hopping may be configured by higher layers. Different PRACH resources are used to indicate UE coverage status.

Abstract: A user equipment (LTE) for operation in a fifth-generation system (5GS) is configured to decode configuration information for a first hybrid-automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement (ACK) (HARQ-ACK) codebook for first priority HARQ-ACK bits and for a second HARQ-ACK codebook for second priority HARQ-ACK bits. The configuration information may indicate a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource for the first HARQ-ACK codebook and a PUCCH resource for the second HARQ-ACK codebook. The UE may multiplex the first priority HARQ-ACK bits and the second priority HARQ-ACK bits in a PUCCH transmission when the PUCCH resources for the first and the second HARQ-ACK codebooks overlap. The LTE may use the PUCCH resource for the higher priority HARQ-ACK bits to multiplex the first priority HARQ-ACK bits and the second priority HARQ-ACK bits.

Abstract: Systems and methods for PDCCH monitoring in NR systems. The UE provides to a serving cell UE capability information indicating a capability of the UE to monitor PDCCH. The UE capability information indicates a carrier aggregation capability larger than multiple serving cells and has a maximum number indication for a maximum number of PDCCH candidates that the UE can monitor per span. The serving cell transmits an RRC message to a UE in response to the UE capacity information. The RRC message has a per-slot and/or per-span indication to monitor PDCCHs on the serving cell for a maximum number of PDCCH candidates and non-overlapping CCEs. The UE monitors PDCCH candidates and, in the event that a span contains larger than a maximum number of PDCCH candidates or non-overlapping CCEs across multiple served cells, determines whether to monitor a particular PDCCH candidate in the span.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) can receive, from an eNodeB, a serving PLMN system information block (SIB)19 for a carrier frequency of a serving PLMN of the UE. The UE can acquire inter-frequency and inter-PLMN discovery system information acquisition assistance signaling information from the SIB19. The UE can process a non-serving PLMN SIB19 for one or more carrier frequencies of a non-serving PLMN using the inter-frequency and inter-PLMN discovery system information acquisition assistance signaling information. The UE can identify inter-frequency and inter-PLMN discovery announcement rate information and monitoring control configuration information for the one or more carrier frequencies of the non-serving PLMN to enable the UE to perform device-to-device (D2D) discovery with a UE in the non-serving PLMN according to the inter-frequency and inter-PLMN discovery and inter-PLMN discovery announcement rate information and monitoring control configuration information.

Abstract: An apparatus of user equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry coupled to a memory, where to configure the UE for Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communication (URLLC) in a New Radio (NR) network, the processing circuitry is to decode higher layer signaling indicating a UE-specific DL SPS configuration. The DL SPS configuration including a periodicity of control information communication and a number of DL data repetitions for a transport block. A DCI format received via a PDCCH based on the periodicity in the DL SPS configuration is decoded. Multiple PDSCH slot allocations are detected in the DCI format using the number of DL data repetitions. DL data received via the PDSCH within the multiple PDSCH slot allocations is decoded.
