Abstract: An AP downlink multi-user transmission method in a wireless communication system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: generating a DL MU PPDU, wherein the DL MU PPDU comprises resource allocation information for uplink MU transmission by a station (STA); transmitting the DL MU PPDU to the STA; and, on the basis of the DL MU PPDU, receiving a UL MU PPDU generated by the STA, wherein the UL MU PPDU comprises a first part having a first IDFT/DFT cycle, and a second part having a second IDFT/DFT cycle that is four times the first IDFT/DFT cycle, wherein the first part may be received through at least one 20 MHz channel in a position corresponding to a frequency resource indicated by the resource allocation information, and the second part may be received by using the frequency resource indicated by the resource allocation information.

Abstract: The present specification presents a technique for transmitting a PPDU by using a resource unit including carriers of different sizes. For example, a PPDU is transmitted by using five frequency bands, a left guard band, and a right guard band. Null subcarriers can be included in the five frequency bands according to the type of included resource unit. The null subcarriers can be the leftmost side or the rightmost side of each frequency band, and the number of included null subcarriers can be determined according to the size of the carrier included in each resource unit or the type of resource unit. A frequency band including DC carriers can include only one resource unit having a discontinuous carrier, and null subcarriers can be further included around the DC carriers.

The STF signal is included in a field used to improve AGC estimation of a MIMO transmission. A portion of the STF signal is used to transmit an uplink, and can be used for uplink MU PPDUs transmitted from a plurality of STAs. The STF signal that is disclosed, for example, is used for a 40 MHz band or an 80 MHz band, is desirably usable for the 40 MHz band, and can be generated based on a sequence in which a predetermined M sequence is repeated. The predetermined M sequence can be a binary sequence of which the length is 15 bits.

If the frame is transmitted with a bandwidth of 40 MHz or greater, the second signaling field transmits independent control information in two adjacent 20 MHz bands, and the second signaling field, transmitted through a specific 20 MHz band, comprises data transmission resource allocation information within the specific 20 MHz band.
