摘要： An active matrix type liquid crystal display apparatus includes a display pixel unit including a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix; a data signal driving circuit for outputting a gray-scale voltage control signal to the pixels and having a pulse width in accordance with gray-scale information of display data, a scan signal driving circuit for outputting at least one of an active voltage and inactive voltage to the pixels, and a gray-scale voltage selecting circuit for outputting a gray-scale voltage to the pixels. The gray-scale voltage in increased and decreased in accordance with time. Each of the pixels includes a liquid crystal cell and a switching element having a drain terminal, a common terminal and a gate terminal. The gate terminal is connected to the data signal driving circuit through a gate electrode, the common terminal is connected to the scan signal driving circuit through a common electrode, and the drain terminal is connected to the gray-scale voltage selecting circuit through a drain electrode.

摘要： A liquid crystal display device in which the time necessary for luminance to change from application of a different gray-scale voltage exceeds one frame period in relation to the response as a luminance change time of the liquid crystal. The liquid crystal display device includes a signal control circuit for preventing the content of a preceding frame from being displayed as an after-image and preventing also deterioration of image quality. The signal control circuit includes a frame memory for delaying by one frame the first display data inputted from the external device, an arithmetic operation circuit for comparing the second display data stored in the frame memory and delayed by one frame with the first display data, and an addition/subtraction circuit for adding and subtracting correction data outputted by the arithmetic operation circuit to and from the first display data.

摘要： A liquid crystal display control device is provided with a clock generating circuit for generating, on the basis of a first synchronous signal, a dot clock having a predetermined period, a phase which varies on dot-period basis for every frame period of the first video signal, an input circuit for picking up the first video signal in accordance with the dot clock and outputting digital display data, a frame memory in which the digital display data are stored, and a control circuit for generating a second synchronous signal for a liquid crystal display and reading out the display data stored in the frame memory to generate a second video signal, whereby a series of operations from a pickup operation of the video signal to a display operation of the liquid crystal panel can be performed at a lower speed while suppressing deterioration in quality of display images.

摘要： There are provided a liquid crystal driving circuit and a liquid crystal display device in which the display brightness and color variation to input display data values can be adjusted. Input display data of one line period are taken into a latch circuit (1) with a latch signal output from a latch address control circuit, and latch circuit (1) data are taken into a latch circuit (2) at the timing of a line clock. Further, the latch circuit (2) data are input to a decode circuit. In accordance with set data output from a set register which sets the set register setting data with a set register setting clock, a gray-scale voltage which is matched with data of each pixel is selected and output as a selection voltage from the decode circuit. The selection voltage is buffered in an amplifying circuit, and then a liquid crystal applying voltage is output.

摘要： In a high pressure fuel injection system, fuel is pumped up from a fuel tank by a low pressure pump and further pressurized by a high pressure pump. Pressurized fuel is accumulated in a common rail connected to injectors which inject fuel into an engine. A high pressure regulator is connected to the common rail to mechanically relieve excessive fuel pressure in the common rail or to electronically reduce the fuel pressure when required. An electronic control unit controls operation of the high pressure pump, the high pressure regulator and the injectors according to engine operating conditions which are fed to the unit from various sensors. The fuel pressure in the common rail is decreased by operation of the high pressure pump and the high pressure regulator either rapidly or gradually according to engine operating conditions. Vapor, including fuel and air, accumulated in the common rail under high ambient temperature is purged out quickly before the engine is stared by driving only the low pressure pump under command from the electronic control unit. The system is also provided with a "limp-home" function under which a car is driven back home even when some portions of the system fail or malfunction.

摘要： A liquid crystal panel and a liquid crystal display device including the panel which has a transparent first substrate, a second substrate arranged so as to oppose the first substrate with a space therebetween and liquid crystals filled in the space between the first substrate and the second substrate and having a twist angle which changes in a plane in parallel with a direction of an electric field. The panel has pixels including pixel electrodes connected to source electrodes and counter electrodes with the pixels being arranged in M rows and N columns, where M and N are integers of at least two. Both of the pixel electrodes and the counter electrodes are provided at the second substrate. The panel also includes drain lines independently provided for respective columns, gate lines independently provided for respective rows, and counter lines connected to the counter electrodes. The counter lines include first counter lines at at least one of odd number columns and odd number rows and second counter lines at at least one of even number columns and even number rows with the first and second counter lines being independent of one another.
