摘要: A method of manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor for use in a copying apparatus or a printer is disclosed. The method comprises steps of providing an electrically conductive substrate, providing a first layer provided on the substrate for preventing injection of electrons into the photoreceptor from the substrate, providing a second layer of amorphous silicon provided on the first layer for determining charging characteristic of photoreceptor and providing a third layer for preventing injection of holes into the photoreceptor from the surface thereof and for effecting passivation of the surface. The second layer is subjected to doping of boron, which is effected by introducing a mixed gas of boron and silicon with a ratio of 0.2-2 ppm into a growth chamber.

摘要: A first object of the present invention is to provide a separator including a polyethylene microporous membrane and a heat-resistant porous layer, and that has a sufficient shutdown function and a sufficient heat resistance, and can be formed with a reduced thickness and can overcome the problem of slidability. A first aspect of the present invention is a separator for a non-aqueous secondary battery. The separator includes a microporous membrane of primarily polyethylene, and a heat-resistant porous layer of a primarily heat-resistant polymer formed on at least one surface of the microporous membrane. (1) The microporous membrane has a Gurley number of 25 to 35 sec/100 cc·μm per unit thickness. (2) The heat-resistant porous layer contains inorganic fine particles having an average particle diameter of 0.1 to 1.0 μm. (3) The inorganic fine particles are 40% to 80% in volume with respect to a total volume of the heat-resistant polymer and the inorganic fine particles. (4) The heat-resistant porous layer has a total thickness of 3 to 12 μm.

摘要: Upon designating bookbinding print, preview images are displayed in a layout after bookbinding. When “store” of intermediate data is designated in a print process, a spooler (302) stores intermediate data and an output job setup file in a spool file (303). When the stored job is selected, a previewer (306) displays a list of jobs, and displays a print preview image. In this case, upon setting bookbinding print, pages are displayed in a spread state and order after bookbinding. Also, the open direction (right or left open), and the bookbinding unit are also expressed on preview images.

摘要: Defect-free printing is achieved by previewing on a display prior to printing, device functions and print specifications. Preview of double-sided faces is concurrently provided when double-sided printing is specified. Display is performed by generation of data which allows print preview that reflects consideration of device information and document data. Data is generated for perspective-reverse-face preview when page-specification information is set for double-sided faces.

摘要: An objective of the present invention is to provide an optical fiber sensor which has a simple configuration to enable sensitively measuring a refractive index of a measurement medium in a wide range of refractive indexes. An optical fiber sensor according to the present invention includes; an optical fiber having a core in which a short-period gratings are formed and a cladding, the optical fiber being made so that transmission loss occurs due to cladding-propagation-mode leakage at its cladding portion where the short-period gratings are formed; a light source from which light having a wavelength range of the cladding propagation mode is emitted; and a light receiving unit for receiving transmission or reflection light having passed through the cladding at the position where the short-period gratings are formed. The optical fiber sensor detects, based on the total receiving light intensity that the light receiving unit receives, the refractive index of the measurement medium contacting the cladding, in which the optical fiber is multi-mode one, and the short-period gratings have plural kinds of periods.

摘要: This invention relates to a printing control method and apparatus, a computer program product, and the like in which printing data is held in a hierarchical structure and a printing job is issued to a printer to cause the printer to print. In the printing control method according to the present invention, different setting values can be set in the lower and upper layers of the hierarchical structure as printing setting data containing double-sided printing or single-sided printing setting. When a setting value different from that of the upper layer is set in the lower layer of the hierarchical structure, the printer is instructed on a setting in the lower layer for each printing data to which the setting value is applied.
