摘要: Each spindle system turbine blade has front and rear surfaces relative to the rotational direction. The rear surface is a recessed columnar surface with a radius of curvature R1, while the front surface is a smooth continuous surface having a projecting columnar surface with a radius of curvature R2 larger than R1 and a flat surface between which a projecting columnar surface with a radius of curvature R3 larger than R1 is arranged. Among the three surfaces, the projecting columnar surface is at an inlet side of a channel straddling the projecting columnar surface, while the flat surface is at the outlet side. A space sandwiched between a facing front surface and rear surface of adjoining turbine blades forms a gas channel. Gas ejected from a nozzle flows in from an inlet in a direction along the arc-shaped curve of the recessed columnar surface and out an outlet.

摘要: A semiconductor device includes a first CPU, a second CPU having a configuration that is the same as or comparable to a configuration of the first CPU, and a comparator that compares an output of the first CPU with an output of the second CPU. The second CPU is made so as to have a lower operating margin than the first CPU. By supplying a same signal to the first CPU and the second CPU and then detecting a mismatch between the outputs of the first CPU and the second CPU as a result of comparison, the abnormality is predicted. The semiconductor device includes a reset control circuit that resets the device when the result of comparison by the comparator indicates an error.

摘要: [Problem] Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a spherical brush having highly dense brush bristles for easy cleaning of periodontal pockets and a cylindrical brush having the brush bristles highly dense brush bristles at a ball portion of a tip thereof, and a brush manufactured by the manufacturing method.[Solution means] A fiber bundle, which is composed of a number of short fibers prepared by cutting long fibers, is gripped between a set of U-shaped wires arranged to crisscross with each other to form a loop. The open ends of the U-shaped wires are pulled and twisted in opposite directions, so that the fibers at the portion gripped by the U-shaped wires are compressed to reduce the size of their bundled areas. Elastic repulsion is established between the fiber bundles near a wire-gripped portion by the size differences of the cross sectional areas of the free end fibers at both ends of the wire-gripped portion, and is utilized so that the free end fibers diverge radially to the circumference from the wire-gripped portion.

摘要: While a conveying error of a roller depends on the eccentricity of the roller, the amount and the state of the eccentricity sometimes makes the roller have different conveying errors from one point in the longitudinal direction of the roller to another. There is provided a construction for obtaining a correction value that is suitable for the correction of the conveying error even in such a case as described above. To this end, plural test patterns are formed in the longitudinal direction of the roller. Then, a suitable correction value for correcting the conveying error that depends on the eccentricity of the roller is obtained on the basis of these test patterns.
