    摘要: A method for in-situ solid lubrication of sliding electrical contacts includes the steps of providing a device having a movable electrically conductive first member and an electrically conductive second member, the first and second member being in electrical contact at a slideable electrical contact, and automatically applying an electrically conductive solid lubricant transfer film to the slideable electrical contact during operation of the device. The applying step can be a deposition of the electrically conductive solid lubricant transfer film on a surface of the first member, wherein the electrically conductive solid lubricant transfer film is carried by movement of the first member to the electrical contact.

    摘要: A marine diesel cylinder is lubricated using a lubricant having a total base number (TBN) of at least about 25, comprising an oil of lubricating viscosity and a metal-containing detergent component. Forty to 90 percent of the TBN derived from the metal-containing detergent component is provided by calcium detergent; 5 to 40 percent of the TBN by sodium detergent; and 5 to 45 percent by magnesium detergent. At least 50 weight percent of the total detergent substrate is sulfonate and less than 50 weight percent is monomeric or oligomeric substrate comprising one or more units of alkyl-substituted phenol having an alkyl group of 8 to 14 carbon atoms. The lubricant is useful when the marine diesel engine is fueled with a liquid fuel containing at least 2 ppm vanadium.

    摘要: Provided are a mixed nano-lubricating oil and a method for preparing the same. The method for preparing a mixed nano-lubricating oil includes the steps of: (a) preparing a mixed solution by adding and mixing a nanopowder and a dispersant to a solvent and pulverizing the nanopowder to a primary particle level; (b) modifying the surface of the nanopowder; (c) substituting the solvent of the mixed solution to a lubricating oil; and (d) mixing at least two nano-lubricating oils prepared using physically and chemically different nanopowders. According to the present invention, it is possible to improve the wear resistance and the load resistance at the same time by mixing at least two kinds of lubricating oils having excellent wear resistance or load resistance.

    摘要: The invention refers to lubricant compositions, said lubricant compositions being particularly preferred for conveyor systems, especially in the foodstuff industry, which are suitable for lubricating, cleaning and disinfecting of the transport chains. More specifically, the invention refers to lubricant compositions for conveyor systems comprising: a) one or more phosphoric acid esters; and b) one or more ether carboxylates; and e) water; and c) one or more C6-C22 fatty acids, optionally ethoxylated with to 20 moles of ethylene oxide; and/or d) one or more C6-C22 fatty alcohols, optionally ethoxylated with 1 to 20 moles of ethylene oxide wherein the weight ratio of component (a) to component (b) is in the range of 9:1 to 1:3. Said lubricant compositions can be used in conveyor systems for glass and/or plastic bottles, such as polyethylen terepthalate (PET) or polycarbonate (PC); cans, glass containers, drums, cardboard containers and similar items.
