摘要： The present invention provides an oil for minimal quantity lubrication aluminum processing. In aluminum processing such as cutting, grinding, and form-rolling, the oil composition can improve the processing efficiency, tool life, and handleability in higher levels in a well-balanced manner and further is highly biodegradable and thus environment friendly. The oil composition comprises an alcohol compound having 1 to 8 hydroxyl groups and 2 to 27 carbon atoms, in an amount of 16 to 100 percent by mass on the basis of the total mass of the composition.

摘要： A lubricant composition for a resin conveyor, comprising specific (A) a nonionic surfactant and (B) water and, if necessary, (C) (a) a cationic surfactant and/or (b) an amphoteric surfactant, and a method for using same. Using a specific nonionic surfactant as the main component provides excellent washing ability, lubricating ability, and stability in storage. In particular, because excellent ability to prevent stress cracking is attained, the lubricant composition for a resin conveyor can be advantageously employed for transporting PET containers. Furthermore, adding a specific cationic surfactant makes it possible to obtain a lubricant composition for a resin conveyor also demonstrating an effect of inhibiting microorganism (fungi) generation, without degrading the various original performances (effects). Furthermore, a preferred method for using those lubricant compositions for resin conveyors is also provided.

A composition comprised of a mixture of ethanol and food-grade mineral oil is applied directly to the substrate or objects sought to be degreased or lubricated. For degreasing applications, an amount of the composition is applied in an amount sufficient to penetrate and loosen grease-covered substrates, and is particularly well suited for hand wiping applications. Such methods can also be utilized to remove paint and ink. The compositions are substantially effective yet relatively non-toxic and biodegradable.
