As a result of this improved ballast circuit system, the necessary high voltage is generated from a normal 120 volt AC in such a way that there is low power loss. The system efficiency allows for use of plastic fixtures and small size packaging of the discharge lamp.

    摘要: Provided is a fluorescence reader that uses two excitation channels and can read up to seven different fluorescent dyes in a single run. Each excitation channel has one light source and one single excitation filter and one dichroic mirror. One excitation channel is capable of exciting multiple fluorescent dyes and can be used to distinguish multiple dyes in combination with multiple emission filters. The excitation channels are driven by a motor that can automatically switch the two excitation channels for taking images of up to seven different fluorescent dyes. An algorithm to calibrate the crosstalk between different fluorescent dyes is also provided. Also provided is a method for analyzing digital PCR data using a ratio of two fluorescence emission readings.

    摘要: A frequency diverse phased-array antenna operates simultaneously in two bands. A checkerboard of antenna elements for a first wavelength is offset with a second checkerboard of second antenna elements. Within the substrate is a three dimensional checkerboard of ground planes and ground walls which provide signal isolation between the bands. Multiple ground planes optimize operation at the several frequencies. Phased-array elements are isolated by a conductive wall in a multi-layer substrate. Orthogonal polarization of antenna patches further improve signal discrimination. Below the surface layer, another conductive wall isolates each quadrature hybrid. The conductive wall can be realized by metal vias or metal mesh infused through a dielectric and surrounding a raised ground plane to isolate electrical fields at each frequency. A conductive wall also provides quadrature hybrid isolation.

Depending on the LTE access network system and air interface characteristics, by making a few processing flow changes in such mode or method, a wireless communication link is established between a network maintenance device and a base station to implement the base station maintenance and data communication. Application of the technical solutions provided by the embodiments of the present invention can implement the base station maintenance and data communication by the wireless mode, reduce the cost of the network maintenance and prevent the destruction and influence of human factors on the operation and maintenance of the base station.
