Abstract: A method for establishing a calibrating standard for wafer inspection includes depositing solid ionized particles of a known size range with an aerosol onto a wafer. The method also includes depositing particles onto a wafer in a deposition chamber by using an aerosol stream and the solid particles suspended in a gas; ionizing the aerosol stream with a negative or positive charge polarity or both by passing the aerosol stream through a non-radioactive ionizer to produce charged particles and supplying such aerosol stream to the deposition chamber.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a spraying nozzle, a spraying device including such a nozzle, and a spraying method implementing such a device. A nozzle for projecting powdery sold products for coating objects. The nozzle comprises a body having an essentially cylindrical shape and comprises at least two tunnels extending there through and insulated from each other. Each tunnel developing helically about a main axis of the nozzle. The tunnels are independently supplied with a fluid/powdery solid(s) mixture. The helical shape of the tunnels makes it possible to obtain a powerful jet with a conical shape capable of coating the inner surfaces of tubular objects.

Abstract: Disclosed is a powder coating method and paint thereof. First, a metal object is applied a voltage. Second, paint is rubbed to carry a static charge, wherein the static charge is opposite to the voltage applied to the metal object. The statically charged paint is then sprayed from a nozzle to the metal object to form a coating covering the metal object surface. The paint composition includes 90 to 99.9 parts by weight of a resin matrix, and 10 to 0.1 parts by weight of a carbon nanocapsule evenly dispersed in the resin matrix.

Abstract: Method of coating pipe having a raised weld bead. Curable resin polymer is applied to the pipe and allowed to bond to form a cured or partially cured polymer layer on the pipe. Powder form adhesive composition is applied on the polymer layer while hot, with fusion into a film bonding to the polymer. Powder form polyolefin is applied to the adhesive while hot with fusion into a film bonding to the adhesive to form a powder-based coating. Following forming of the powder-based coating, the pipe is cooled from the inside. An outer polyolefin covering is bonded to the powder-based coating and the pipe cooled to ambient temperature. This procedure can avoid voids, cavities or pinholes forming in the coating adjacent the weld bead.
