    摘要: Creating a large fleet of vehicles, which gather wind energy and generate wind generated energy, such as electricity, is impeded by the cost to an individual vehicle owner. Accordingly, a system and corresponding method to gather wind energy and deposit stored wind generated energy for system credit is provided. The present invention includes a vehicle-based wind energy gathering device to gather wind energy and generate wind generated energy, a vehicle-based energy storage system, electrically coupled to the wind energy gathering device, to store wind generated energy, and means for depositing the stored wind generated energy for system credit. As such, individual vehicle owners have an incentive to participate in gathering wind energy and depositing wind generated energy, such as electricity. By taking advantage of potentially millions of participants and participating vehicles, the present invention creates a format for generating energy from multiple forms of wind energy on a wide-scale.

    摘要: The space-saving, long operating, and cheap vortex plants of large power intensively combine solar, either waste and secondary, or geothermal heating of slightly pressured water with use of wind, giving competitive electricity and water production without firing of fuel, extensive convection collector, mechanical sucking of free air, overstressed moving parts of vortex tower, or large number of air turbines. The embodiments of plants due to different climate and regime include simplified and compacted vortex tower with staged system of forcing and controlling jets of saturated steam along vortex channel, flow-through electric generator with rotated drum or magnetic concentrators, and regime storage at use of waste or geothermal heat, and at use of solar heat under mainly positive ambient temperatures. For starting up and flexible operation during cold winter at absence of wind, solar radiation and hot free air, a compacted off-seasonal storage of high heat density is used for solar heating, storing and flashing of water, and heating and acceleration of saturated steam and wind or sucked air supplying kinetic energy and heat into vortex tower.

    摘要: An apparatus is provided for generating electricity in response to a fluid flow. The apparatus includes a top rotor element coupled to a center axis with an arm extending substantially perpendicular to a center axis. The arm moves in response to the fluid flow to rotate the center axis. The apparatus also includes a bottom rotor element coupled to the center axis also having an arm extending substantially perpendicular to the center axis. The arm of the bottom rotor element is substantially fixed in a position relative to the arm of the top rotor element, wherein the position is offset about the center axis by about 90° from the top rotor element. The apparatus further includes intermediate rotor elements stacked between the top rotor element and the bottom rotor elements, wherein the intermediate rotor elements are in positions successively offset about the center axis in degrees to produce the 90° offset of the bottom rotor element relative to the top rotor element, and each intermediate rotor element includes a tongue and a groove for coupling to the adjacent rotor element. The tongue and groove of each intermediate rotor element are offset from one another to produce the successive offset of the rotor elements.
