Abstract: An apparatus for diagnosing failure of an inverter includes switches coupled to three phases of A, B, and C, respectively. The apparatus also includes a measurer configured to measure each of the output currents of the three phases. The apparatus also includes a comparison processor configured to receive the output currents measured by the measurer and compare the received output currents with a set value. The apparatus also includes a failure determination processor configured to detect a switch having an output current equal to or smaller than the set value based on the comparison performed by the comparison processor to determine the switch as faulty. The failure determination processor is also configured to, upon detecting faulty switch, identify which phase switch is faulty to change the duty ratio of the switch determined to be faulty and to perform phase shift on switches not determined to be faulty.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a peptide for detecting HE4 and use thereof and, more specifically, to a peptide for detecting HE4 that specifically binds to HE4 and use thereof for diagnosing ovarian cancer. The peptide that specifically binds to HE4, according to the present invention, can detect HE4 with high sensitivity and accuracy. In addition, when the peptide is expressed in the outer coat of a bacteriophage and constructed into a bacteriophage nano self-assembly, the peptide can conveniently detect HE4 from a sample through observation of a color change with a simple imaging device such as a smartphone, and in particular, the peptide can detect HE4 included in a small amount in saliva, and thus has the advantage of being very effectively used in early diagnosis of ovarian cancer.

Abstract: The present invention provides a cell measurement device and method in which retroreflective particles are introduced to measure cells, and thus, an optical signal is obtained without fixing of life activity of cells and performing a separate staining process. An example of the use of retroreflection-based cytometry is evaluation of cell migration. The cells capture the retroreflective particles during cell migration or growth, and migrate in a state that the particles are captured in the cell or bind to the cells. The migrated cells are observed in a form of bright dots inside the cells under irradiation of white light as a non-spectroscopic light source to the cells in the retroreflective optical system. The number of bright spots is counted, and thus, the number of cells and the presence thereof thus can be easily measured based on an image.
