Abstract:
A source driver control device and method. The source driver control device includes a memory, a first write controller, a second write controller and a write clock signal generator. The memory receives display data corresponding to an image and stores the display data in response to a write clock signal. The first write controller generates a first write enable signal in response to a vertical back porch and a horizontal back porch. The second write controller generates a second write enable signal, which is enabled for each write cycle of storing the display data in the memory, in response to the first write enable signal. The write clock signal generator generates the write clock signal in a period in which the second write enable signal is enabled. The write cycle corresponds to a multiple of a reference write cycle. The source driver control device and method can reduce power consumed when the display data is written in the memory.
Abstract:
In order to reduce the SAS resistance at the cell region with low process cost, a method for fabricating a semiconductor device according to the present invention includes forming a protection layer on a semiconductor substrate on which a cell region and a peripheral region are defined, forming a first trench and a second trench at the respective cell and the peripheral regions by selectively etching the protection layer and the semiconductor substrate, and deepening the second trench by further etching the peripheral region while the cell region being blocked and the peripheral region being exposed.
Abstract:
A method and system for guaranteeing a seamless session when replacing a PoC terminal in a PoC system is provided, in which a currently busy PoC client can be replaced in an existing busy PoC session using a PoC compliant client capable of connecting the PoC session, thereby preventing a transmitted media stream of the running PoC session from being lost when the PoC client is replaced. The method includes transmitting, by an arbitrary PoC user, a message for replacing a terminal from a user terminal to a session management server while maintaining the session; receiving, by the session management server, the replacement request message, and transmitting an INVITE message to a terminal to be replaced, or a target terminal; and receiving, by the target terminal, the INVITE message, and media through an existing session. In a situation where there is a need to replace the PoC terminal according to change of the media for the PoC call, request of mobility, etc. by the PoC user, the user is allowed to make a continuous call. Thus, it is possible to improve QoE of the user and expand the markets for the PoC terminal and its services.
Abstract:
A thermal image forming apparatus includes a platen roller which supports a medium, a print head, including a heating unit which applies heat to the medium to form an image thereon, which rotates around the platen roller and moves the heating unit to a first location facing a first surface of the medium and a second location facing a second surface of the medium, and a restricting element which rotates together with the print head. The restricting element restricts the movement of the platen roller in a transport direction of the medium so that the heating unit is placed at a printing nip formed by the platen roller and the print head when the print head is located at the first and second locations.
Abstract:
A thermal printer is provided including a cable which connects a main board and a recording head to form an image on a print medium by heating both surfaces of the print medium. The thermal printer includes a rotating unit rotatably installed within a frame. The thermal printer also includes a recording head, a support member, and a main board installed on the frame substantially above the first surface of the print medium. The main board applies power and provides image data to the recording head. A flexible cable is disposed on one side or both sides of the print medium so as to not to interfere with a transfer of the print medium and a reciprocating rotation of the recording head. The flexible cable connects the main board and the recording head. A control guide is disposed on a path where the flexible cable moves within the frame to control a degree to which the flexible cable is loosened when the recording head is located at a certain position.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a preparation method for acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin by continuous bulk polymerization comprising the following steps of a) preparing a mixed solution of styrene monomers and acrylonitrile monomers by adding 5-10 weight % of the mixture of styrene monomers and acrylonitrile monomers to a reaction solvent; b) preparing a polymerization solution by dissolving butadiene rubber in the above mixed solution of styrene monomers and acrylonitrile monomers; c) polymerizing with a serial injection of the prepared polymerization solution and initiator in a grafting reactor; d) polymerizing the reaction solution of the above c) in a phase inversion reactor by adding 90-95 weight % of the total mixture of styrene monomers and acrylonitrile monomers thereto; and e) polymerizing further the reaction solution of the above step d) at 130-160° C. The resin prepared by the method of the present invention thus has excellent impact strength and gloss.
Abstract:
A thermal image forming apparatus is provided adapted to form images on both sides of a recording medium. The thermal image forming apparatus includes an image forming part having a recording head for forming an image on the recording medium and a support member facing the recording head and supporting the recording medium with respect to the recording head. The recording medium has a first side and a second side opposite to the first side. A position changing unit rotates the recording head around a shaft of the support member to move the recording head to first and second locations respectively facing the first and second sides of the recording medium.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for displaying menu items of a hierarchical menu on a screen in such a manner that a function desired by a user can be traced and performed with a minimum number of key inputs. The top-level menu and bottom-level menu of the hierarchical menu can be simultaneously displayed in one screen picture, thereby enabling a user to reach from an upper-level menu to the bottom-level menu or from the bottom-level menu to the top-level menu with a minimum number of key inputs without passing through intermediate-level menus. Further, a certain menu can be displayed in one screen picture along with the one-level upper menu and one-level lower menu thereof or the one-level lower menu thereof so that the user can readily recognize the position of a current menu. Furthermore, the user can access all menus using only direction keys.
Abstract:
A CMOS image sensor and a method for manufacturing the same, capable of preventing an interface between an active region and a field region in the CMOS image sensor from being damaged by ion implantation. The method comprises the steps of depositing a sacrificial oxide layer and a hard mask layer on a semiconductor substrate; etching the sacrificial oxide layer and the hard mask layer to form a mask pattern; etching the substrate to a predetermined depth to form a trench; depositing an isolating material in the trench and planarizing it until substantially coplanar with the hard mask layer; removing the hard mask layer to leave a protrusion in the isolating layer; depositing an insulating layer on the substrate and isolating layer; and etching the insulating layer and the sacrificial oxide layer sufficiently to form a spacer mask and expose the surface of the substrate.
