    Abstract: This invention relates to fabric for airbag comprising a textile substrate; and a coating layer on at least one side of the textile substrate, wherein coating layer comprises polyurethane resin, a crosslinking agent, and a hydrophilic thickener, and the crosslinking agent is a compound having a blocked active group, and a method for preparing fabric for airbag, comprising steps of: preparing a textile substrate; and forming a coating layer on at least one side of the textile substrate, wherein the step of forming a coating layer comprise steps of: adding a crosslinking agent and a hydrophilic thickener to an aqueous polyurethane dispersion to prepare a coating solution; applying the coating solution one at least one side of the textile substrate; drying the textile substrate on which the coating solution is applied; and heat treating the dried textile substrate.
