The method may include shaping the inner radial surface of the radial member and a corresponding outer radial surface of a corrosion-resistant liner. The method may also include heating the radial member to increase a diameter of the inner radial surface of the radial member, and inserting at least a portion of the corrosion-resistant liner into the radial member. The method may further include attaching the corrosion-resistant liner to the inner radial surface of the radial member to thereby protect the inner radial surface of the radial member of the turbomachine from corrosion.

An expander receives and expands the multi-phase fluid to generate a lower-pressure fluid which can more efficiently be separated in a separator. Expanding the fluid also drives a main shaft adapted to drive at least the separator and a compressor coupled thereto. The separator receives the lower-pressure fluid, separates any higher-density components from the lower-density components disposed therein, and provides a substantially dry gas to the compressor to be re-compressed and discharged from the system.

The tenon may be inserted at least partially into an opening defined by an inner shroud segment of the turbine. A bushing may be inserted at least partially into the opening in the inner shroud segment of the turbine such that the tenon becomes at least partially disposed within an opening defined by the bushing. A bolt may be inserted through the opening in the bushing and at least partially into an opening defined by the tenon. The bolt may be threadably engaged with the tenon.

A compressor is disclosed having a shaft seal assembly and system that allows a high-pressure compressor to settle-out at a lower pressure level during shutdown. The seal assembly may be disposed about a portion of the shaft and define a blow-down seal chamber, the seal assembly including one or more gas seals in fluid communication with the blow-down seal chamber. A blow-down line is communicably coupled to the blow-down seal chamber to reference the blow-down seal chamber to a low pressure reference, such as a separate centrifugal compressor, or the like. Referencing the blow-down seal chamber to the low pressure reference reduces the required sealing pressure of the one or more gas seals. A valve may be disposed in the blow-down line and configured to regulate a flow of process gas leakage through the blow-down line.
